GOP will cave... bet on it. The next SC Justice to get confirmed will probably be Michelle Obama.

I must say I'm surprised the dem0crats are making such a huge tactical error. There will be several more vacancies Trump will fill and now they can be whoever he thinks will get 51.
Lot to give up for a couple of days of what they still think is good press for a lifetime appointment.
It all pointing to Schumer not being that bright.

Scbumer is up there now lamenting the rules change. He was singing a different tune when Reid was doing it.

You’re assuming the Pubbies won’t just back down. Given their history of folding when they hold the winning hand, you can understand the Dhimmi’s choice.

Any reports on whether or not we’ve got the 51 votes to change the rules back to the Constitutional option?

Please make an extra donation when Justice Gorsuch is confirmed.

1) Cloture Vote.
2) McCain gives impassioned speech about Gorsuch’s qualifications.
3) Despite those qualifications McCain announces that he just can’t vote for a change in the Senate rules cause tradition or something.
4) The usual suspects join McCain
5) Gorsuch’s nomination dies
6) McCain is already booking his Sunday Talk Show appearances and having his staff gather the favorable news clippings to make into a collage.
7) It is time to look for the next opportunity to stab a back.

I wonder if the Birchers(Democrats) will walk out on this one.

Schumers on his way out.
Gillibrand is a force to be reckoned with and she recommended an up or down.
And remember, there are 11 sitting Dem Senators who voted for Gorsuch for his Federal Judgeship...and not so long ago.
I think they might tell Schumer to stick it.
