As Flynn Resigns, Priebus Future In Doubt As Trump Allies Circulate List of Alternate Chief of Staff
Brietbart ^ | 02/14/17 | MATTHEW BOYLE

After GOP establishment forces inside President Donald Trump’s White House forced out National Security Adviser retired Army Lt. Gen. Michael Flynn, sources close to the president confirm to Breitbart News there is serious doubt as to whether this early administration shake-up will also see the exit of White House chief of staff Reince Priebus.

Specifically, multiple sources close to President Trump with internal knowledge of White House operations told Breitbart News on Monday night that the buck stops with Priebus when it comes to the botched rollout of the executive order temporarily banning most travel to the United States from seven nations with a history of exporting terrorism and temporarily halting the refugee program. This news comes of course in the wake of the news that Flynn was pushed out, but also as more and more reports of a likely shake-up at the top loom.

“Reince is responsible, ultimately, for the rollout of the immigration executive order,” one source said. “He failed to get [Attorney General Jeff] Sessions on the calendar in the Senate in time for what he knew would be a highly controversial executive order. He was supposed to be this wizard in dealing with congressional Republicans, but has not been successful in getting anything serious done.”

Priebus was loyal to Trump during the campaign when everyone else was throwing him under the bus.

They now have an excuse to clean house of all the Obozo leftovers, then they can look at the Inner Circle trust.

Pray America woke

Was ‘Jones’ the one who heard it directly from the WH or just another ‘source’?

Personally, I would have set him on fire instead.

That's awesome, gave me my best chuckle of the day so far. And - you happen to be exactly right about Flynn; you lie, you die (or at least get fired)!

I’m just surprised it’s Priebus...but I guess I shouldn’t be.

““when it comes to the botched rollout of the executive order “

I still see nothing botched about it. State was jamming in 500 refugees a day when Trump got elected, trying to flood them in. He needed it to happen immediately. And who the F cares if a few got stopped in mid flight? They had a gorged pipeline so that was guaranteed to happen, even with notice.”

The left would have attacked the EO no matter how Trump did it.

Nothing was botched. Stuff happens.

For a reason. When the dust settles and the Left is still ravaging the corpses of Flynn and Priebus they thought they ‘ran down’ like hyenas, a much stronger team will be towering over those RATS, a team they’ll think twice about toying with.

One fair point is this: Priebus’ roll is supposed to be in part to ensure that the Presidents policies can get approved in both houses of Congress. In that, absolute failure. Barely any of Trump’s nominees have been confirmed and the Republicans are control of the Senate. That’s failure number one. Nothing is being passed in the Senate for Trump to sign, the house is busy passing show votes and still, nothing for Trump to sign into law. If Reince can’t get this done then you may as well have a hardcore Trump loyalist in his place. Either you show me what you’re worth or you’re worthless.

[...building more settlements is not helpful.]

I believe, he said that Bibi TALKING about building more settlements would not be helpful...just build.

[I’m hearing he is backing off of moving the embassy to Jerusalem]

From where?

Newt Gingrich should be Chief of Staff. He’s tactically brilliant and knows how to deal w Congress and roll out initiatives. Plus he is a fighter like Trump vs the Left

Newt would be a disaster. He's brilliant. No doubt. But he's a loose cannon with almost no self discipline. He never knows when to keep his mouth shut.

I'll never get that image of he and Nancy Pelosi on a couch in the surf whining about global warming out of my mind.

I’m hearing he is backing off of moving the embassy to Jerusalem and is telling Netanyahu that building more settlements is not helpful.

Who is advising him? Is he becoming wishy-washy?

You're hearing this? From whom? Trump is being attacked from every side with a constant stream of lies and innuendo. I don't worry about that man going wishy-washy. I worry about some of his supporters going wishy-washy.

I never did like Priebus. Very sneaky looking. Wonder if Gingrich is available.

Sneaky looking. That's a helluva good reason to blow the White House staff up, erode confidence in the Trump Administration among his supporters and spill more blood in the water to drive the media sharks feeding frenzy! Sneaky looking.

From the article: After GOP establishment forces inside President Donald Trump’s White House forced out National Security Adviser retired Army Lt. Gen. Michael Flynn ...

It doesn't appear this is what happened. The administration was out there defending Flynn, until he admitted his "half truth".

Had Flynn told the full truth, that sanctions were mentioned, but were not discussed, the administration would have still defended him and won --- and would have been able to turn their attention to the illegal leaks.

I believe he finally confessed to it. The story I saw here early this morning was that he first claimed he didn't remember the contents of the conversation clearly, then finally accepted responsibility for it.

If it's true that all U.S. phone calls to foreign ambassadors are wiretapped by the CIA and/or FBI, then the guy is a moron for thinking he could misrepresent the contents of the call and get away with it.

Lynch said they had put people in to keep their agenda long after they were gone. Everyone hired by the previous administration should be VETTED like a terrorist because they are communist sympathizers and a threat to the Constitution and the Republic.

Exactly, Why was it botched? Because the far-left 9th court disagreed?

Far from it. Trump hit hard and fast, which was needed. If for some sane reason the 9th would have agreed with the constitution, and agreed with Trump's EO, we would all be singing Trump's praises right now.
