Bruce Springsteen, a once proud American with his song Born in the USA said at a concert in Australia he's embarrassed to be an American.
The 67-year-old addressed the crowd as "embarrassed Americans" referring to President Trump in the White House in a newly-surfaced clip from his show in Melbourne Monday night.
He sang a cover of "Dont Hang Up" mocking Trumps phone call with Australian Prime Minister Malcolm Turnbull.

Put a ‘free room and board’ sign outside your residence and feel good about being a liberal American contributing to the society you wish to surround yourself with.
See, under Republican leadership you can be a liberal, but under Democrats the IRS will shut down the TEA Party and enforce an individual mandate on purchasing health care insurance.
Born in the USA was a song about self pity and an attack on America and patriotism. It was not a song that praised or honored America. It was not a song that reflected pride in America.
Springsteen has not had a good song since the 1980s.
Springsteen should leave now and take his phony, unpatriotic friends with him.
The sooner that Springsteen leaves the better.
Born In The USA is leftist whining; hardly patriotic. Bruce Springsteen has been a liberal dork since forever.
Musicians and actors; what don’t they know?
The premise is incorrect...Born In The USA is not about being proud of being American. To the contrary, it is dumping on America.
People don’t comprehend the lyrics, they enjoy their refrain.
Fake talent, fake American, bashing America over fake news. Got it.
Bruce sucks joey balls.
He’s free to become a citizen of some other country any time.
We are embarrassed you’re an Amrerican too. An overrated, washed up “artist” who panders to every ethnic group out there but wouldn’t be caught dead living in one of their hoods. You belong right up with FatMichelle, who no longer is “proud of her country”
The amazing thing is all your celebs threatened to leave if Trump won and yet you’re still here. Why is that Brucie? Perhaps you’re a liar in need of counseling? And why was it y’all were threatening to move to overwhelmingly WHITE foreign countries?
Perhaps a little racism to go with you American hating attitude ?
One thing’s for sure, I wish you were never Born in the USA
Get lost
If you listen to the words to “Born in THE USA” then you wouldn’t think it was a proud American song.
He was a boardwalk jersey bum living under the beach boardwalk in asbury park, this ungrateful puke made his millions in a country that embarrassed him and made him what he is today, filthy rich. He is the embarrassment!
Hey, Bruce, try this:
1. Purchase a coconut.
2. Drive north to NYC, then get on I87 and keep going until some guy in a red suit asked, “What brings ya to Canada, Mr. Springsteen?”
3. After you answer the question or questions from the guy in the red suit, keep driving north until you see Quinn the Eskimo spearfishing though his hole in the ice.
4. Park your car and wait for Global Climate change to melt the ice.
5. Plant your coconut.
That’s right!
Bruce Springsteen Born In The U. S. A. Lyrics
Born down in a dead mans town
The first kick I took was when I hit the ground
End up like a dog that’s been beat too much
Till you spend half your life just covering up
Born in the U.S.A., I was born in the U.S.A.
I was born in the U.S.A., born in the U.S.A.
Got in a little hometown cream
So they put a rifle in my hand
Sent me off to a foreign land
To go and kill the yellow man
Born in the U.S.A., I was born in the U.S.A.
Born in the U.S.A., born in the U.S.A.
Come back home to the refinery
Hiring man said “son if it was up to me”
Went down to see my V.A. man
He said “son, don’t you understand”
I had a brother at Khe Sahn
Fighting off the Viet Cong
They’re still there, he’s all gone
He had a woman he loved in Saigon
I got a picture of him in her arms now
Down in the shadow of the penitentiary
Out by the gas fires of the refinery
I’m ten years burning down the road
Nowhere to run ain’t got nowhere to go
Born in the U.S.A., I was born in the U.S.A.
Born in the U.S.A., I’m a long gone daddy in the U.S.A.
Born in the U.S.A., born in the U.S.A.
Born in the U.S.A., I’m a cool rocking daddy in the U.S.A.
Born in the USA did not strike me as a song written by a proud American.
For a guy who made millions with a song named “Born In The USA” he sure hates being American.
a once proud American with his song Born in the USA
They have no clue about how much they don't know.
Bruce Springsteen is not an American. He is a Citizen of the World, a Worldian and as such he should be living in some other part of the world as this part of the world no longer satisfies him.
“Got in a little hometown cream”
Thanks for the lyrics.
But it is hometown jam, not hometown cream.
I remember telling my girlfriend at the time that Born in the USA was not a patriotic song. It is about Bruce feeling sorry for himself and attacking America.
So, how many immigrants has he taken in and let live on his estate? Probably the same number that have been housed in the lyin’ king’s place in chitcago.
Thought he was Born in the USA? Guess not.
