I seem to recall a Bible story about a guy who got the idol worshipers together and asked them to pray for their god to light some wood on fire. Then, he had a pile of wood doused with water and asked God to light it up - whoosh, it went up in flames....

Well the story says the imam was awake in the wee hours, worrying. So he drove over to the mosque to check, he says, and dang if he didn’t find it on fire already.

A few years back, there was a mosque arson in Joplin, Missouri.

Newscasts of the day announced there was video surveillance of the perpetrator and pleaded for help in capturing the suspect. Problem was, no video was ever made public-at least not until some half wit was charged and convicted much later. Suspicious?

This was right in the middle of the Bible belt. Some of the leftist media teamed up with the usual “I hate Jesus” folks and kept it stirred. FBI and BATFE offered a $5,000 reward for information. On a local media forum, I asked how much reward the FBI and ATF were offering for the perpetrators who machine gunned, gassed, and roasted the Branch Davidians. I was promptly kicked off the forum.

You people down in Texas better not trust anyone and keep your eyes and ears open.

A lot of immigrant groups do their own electrical wiring, gas plumbing and other “repairs” and “upgrades” ala Clinton. That is, they do not take out building permits and they do the work themselves without licenses. A lot of the burning of mosques and low income housing here in Texas is the result of such “repairs” and “upgrades”.

I like this more than (a very expensive) "false flag" and insurance fraud. The fire was "billowing" at 2 AM Saturday morning. When is the mosque most fully in use in all of the week? Only a couple of hours earlier than that. Something left on, an overloaded extension cord under a rug finally giving way, a furnace kicking on for the first time for the season, might be the simplest and most easily proven answer. It is certainly what they will look for first.
