Why do people burn their own churches and spraypaint swastikas on them? Why do people trash their own cars? Why do people report they were chased and harassed by angry groups that never existed? Why why why?
Victoria is only 130 miles or so from Austin. That's practically a suburb.
Headline says Austin. Article says Victoria. Only separated by about 150 miles.

Let me explain, then: Victimhood status. It is a status to be cherished, among Democrats. Not a month goes by before some gay waiter claims someone wrote "FAG" on a credit card slip, or some urban Yut chick claims someone wrote "NAGGER!" on her car.

The Austin mosque just had one of these in the fall and got a lot of Liberals to donate money to them. Guess they will have one of these every quarter. Wonder how long it will take the bleeding hearts to catch on.

Apologies. The headline was wrong. Guess the Muslims in Victoria saw the haul the mosque in Austin made and decided to have their own fund raiser, complete with full TV coverage.
