President Trump will direct his secretary of homeland security to examine ways the administration can suspend grants to so-called "sanctuary cities," or areas where law enforcement agents do not enforce immigration laws, White House press secretary Sean Spicer said Wednesday.
"What the executive order does is, it directs the secretary to ... look at funding streams that are going to these cities ... and figure out how we can defund those streams," Spicer said of an executive action Trump was expected to sign later in the day.
Spicer dismissed suggestions that Trump would seek to deport children who were brought into the country illegally by their parents. Those individuals, known as "dreamers," are protected under an Obama administration executive order.
"His priority with respect to immigration is, first and foremost, making sure that people who are in the country who seek to do us harm" are removed, Spicer said.

I agree that criminals should be first priority, but they have to stop DACA. Every day that goes by, there are 14-150 more illegal aliens being given Work papers and permission to stay.
Just deporting criminals is not enough.
We should not wait until they drive drunk and kill Americans before we deport them.
We all know this wouldn’t happen when the Dems are in power. Thus one has to make sure it’s really, really, really dead.
Cutting off these cities’ federal funding will help balance the budget.
There also needs to be laws that hold public official personally and criminally liable for failing in this area and someone winds up being injured or killed. Be it car wreck, burglary, murder, whatever.
Hold the jerks accountable

140-150 illegals aliens are given work papers and permission to stay every day under DACA.
This must stop, even if they do not rescind papers already issued.
The action deferred under Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals is their deportation. That’s what the law says is supposed to happen to illegal aliens.
We should not let any illegal aliens stay.
Build the wall, enforce the law, end sanctuary cities! Go, Trump, GO! MAGA!!

when the power is shut off because they can't pay their utility bills, it will reduce their carbon footprint.
