Donald Trump will remain an exec producer on NBCs Celebrity Apprentice, which is returning Jan. 2 after a two-year hiatus with new host Arnold Schwarzenegger.
MGM confirmed to Variety that Trump has retained his EP credit on the series. The president-elects status on the 15th season of the reality series that made him a household name has been a question since Trump launched his presidential campaign in June 2015. In the credit sequence, Trumps name will air after that of Apprentice creator Mark Burnett and before Schwarzenegger, who is also an exec producer of the new incarnation along with Page Feldman and Eric Van Wagenen.

Something for the media to go nuts over...and over...and over....
In a trust.
Cool! I’ve never watched it, but this will make libs brains melt!
Executive Producer in the White House? Someone must be spoiling their britches.
>>Cool! Ive never watched it, but this will make libs brains melt!<<
It is a lot of fun. Especially since there is really nothing at stake.
The thought that somebody could be anything but a total political animal is going to melt some minds.
The first 3 seasons had something at stake: a JOB at Trump organization. I watched the first season because some of the chicks were hot.

You are so right.... it is going to be a long four years.
I can’t find a link, but I remember reading here that the Founders had business interests as well.
How would they have gotten where they were without their enterprises?
I wouldn’t expect a dirt farmer (with all due respect) to attain a position to write and sign the Declaration of Independence, etc.
They were men of means, I believe (please correct me if I’m wrong).
And isn’t this America? Isn’t entrepreneurship celebrated?
Let’s look into the business interests (foundations, etc.) of Obama, the Clintons, etc.....
Not expecting an answer, but why doesn’t the MSM investigate that?
At least Trump came by his money honestly.
“In a Trust”. The public will need to be reminded of what that means. Although some will continue wanting him to sever all ties with any active tv show.
If he gets a lot of static about it, I expect Donald to put one of his adult children in that role, or a trusted adviser like Kelly Anne. He can still pull virtual strings via proxy vote.
The only year I watched, with Gary Busey, was hilarious!

That was regular Apprentice. And Season 1 in particular was great since the chicks wore VERY short dresses and skirts (it became part of the media discussion about the show).
You realized that Trump's success was "experience"...doing the right thing again and again and again.
Looks like his Presidency will follow that same pattern.
No experience you say. Look at his cabinet!! Best man for the job to fulfill Trump's agenda.
Of course...they were chiefly merchants. Washington had a still, an interest in a canal that would benefit him directly....and then there was his farm....with all the slaves.
"Koskinen? You audited how many Tea Party Groups?
You're Fired."
I believe, Donald Trump (or one of his companies) owns a part of the show. That is why Trump made a lot of money off of that show, he was a part owner and got part of the profits.
Can you imagine, if he uses it to hire people for upper management government positions., shit I am rolling on the floor!, LMAO!
Jefferson was a Planter for life. But by the time of the Revolution he was a retired attorney, who had accrued some wealth, and had held local and State offices in VA.
Ohhh, great idea !
Include media lookalikes in the apprentice lineup.
The credits should read: Executive Producer - President Trump.
