Clinton campaign lawyer Marc E. Elias gave the scheme away in an article published Saturday morning at Medium announcing Clinton would join the recount effort in Wisconsin by Green Party presidential nominee Jill Stein and that Clinton would join Stein should she also file for recounts in Michigan and Pennsylvania.
Elias wrote that starting the day after the election the Clinton campaign worked to find ways to reverse Trumps election.
Elias statement:
we have quietly taken a number of steps in the last two weeks to rule in or out any possibility of outside interference in the vote tally in these critical battleground states.
First, since the day after the election we have had lawyers and data scientists and analysts combing over the results to spot anomalies that would suggest a hacked result. These have included analysts both from within the campaign and outside, with backgrounds in politics, technology and academia.
Second, we have had numerous meetings and calls with various outside experts to hear their concerns and to discuss and review their data and findings. As a part of this, we have also shared out data and findings with them. Most of those discussions have remained private, while at least one has unfortunately been the subject of leaks.
Third, we have attempted to systematically catalogue and investigate every theory that has been presented to us within our ability to do so.
Fourth, we have examined the laws and practices as they pertain to recounts, contests and audits.
Fifth, and most importantly, we have monitored and staffed the post-election canvasses where voting machine tapes are compared to poll-books, provisional ballots are resolved, and all of the math is double checked from election night. During that process, we have seen Secretary Clintons vote total grow

Wisconsin is not North Carolina. Different states, different procedures & laws.
I’m not naive. I have faith Cankles & Co will be defeated again. If you think having faith is naive then there’s no point in further discussion.
Gives it to me. It's mine!
I agree with your first premise. Experience will tell you otherwise. Ruthlessness against evil is not necessarily darkness. And I know Israel and their ways well. To beat back evil you have to be more harsh than your enemies. Several members of my family fought in WW2 against the Axis and they told me several stories about what it was like and things that they did which were brutal and inhuman. By standards they could have been considered war criminals but what they did was right and just
I think RC has a point. Only picking narrowly won red states to recount is exactly the same principle as the one in Bush vs Gore. If you recount all states with a margin of 5% or less in either direction it would be fair. What is happening now IS cherry picking.
I think your believing that Governor Walker of Wisconsin is going to somehow prevent whatever shenanigans that Democrats have planned for this recount is naive, yes, and not just that but ignorant of how state governments are organized.
So, I assume there’s no point in further discussion, as you suggest.
The democrats are not looking to create votes here. Rather, they are looking to destroy them.
Oh yeah, because they care about rules.
“If any of this goes to the Supreme Court, Ginsberg must recuse herself because of her previous statements about Trump, avoiding a 4-4 tie.”
LOL. Like that will happen.
The rats want to push this to the courts. The extra votes needed to flip WI, PA and MI are already planted.
Any challenge to the dem’s theft will be decided by the courts...Where the outcome favors satan’s daughter.
That sounds like post-election revisionism that is not uncommon from losers. If Clinton had won and McCrory had won, they'd be saying they wanted her to be president more than they wanted him out.
It’s just Hillary’s nature to scheme.
#CrookedRecount
There’s not really this hashtag but there should be.
Why won’t she accept the results?
Snufflulufflgas needs to ask her (after he sends her the question first)
Hillary and Aliinsky had a fling if you read their letters.
It wasn’t revisionism, those statements were made before the fact.
If any of these recounts succeed and the electoral vote win is undone, it will be past deadline and too late to seek a recount in, for example, Nevada or NH. Is that correct?
George Sore-ass.
It is not really all that confusing even for people unable to research further than reading Wikipedia. The margin in favor of the Republican was far greater on election night. Somehow more and more votes kept turning up from urban areas in Western Washington in the days following the election. There should be newspaper articles from the time period available online to confirm this timeline if you want to research further.
But please do not worry yourself. I understand that you do not find any significance in the election that was stolen here.
Your governor has a conflict of interest as he is a candidate.
There's a reason why recounts only change the results of an election when the margin is very, very small. It's because the ballots collected on Election Day -- and (depending on the state) on a subsequent date after Election Day in cases of absentee ballots that have to be postmarked by Election Day -- are the only ballots that can be included in recounts. The recounts, then, always involve disputes over ballots that were legitimately collected by the dates required under law, but were either disqualified incorrectly or were counted for the wrong candidate.
So the only way Trump can lose Wisconsin (for example), is if there are 20,000+ incorrectly disqualified ballots out there that were all cast for Hillary Clinton, 20,000+ votes for Clinton that were incorrectly counted for Trump, or a combination of both.
The scenario here is so outlandish that nobody with half a brain really believes it's going to go anywhere.
They know they will not be able to steal this election.
But they do want to tarnish and de-legitimize it...
