Democrat activists in this state wanted Governor McCrory out very badly, more so than they wanted to prevent Trump from winning the Presidency. Several have stated so outright and publicly.

That sounds like post-election revisionism that is not uncommon from losers. If Clinton had won and McCrory had won, they'd be saying they wanted her to be president more than they wanted him out.

It wasn’t revisionism, those statements were made before the fact.

The NC RATS are after McCrory because of the HB2 Bill preventing men from using womens’ rest rooms and also for pushing the voter ID bill. McCrory’s been a national target for a long time—that is not revisionism. NC is a state being torn apart by incoming people fleeing the Northeast and transplanted liberals infiltrating the higher educational institutions. Most North Carolinians are a proud, principled, gracious tradition-loving people.
