A US official tells ABC News at least 11 have been wounded, by likely a vehicle-borne improved explosive device. I find it sad when they run out of the word "improvised" and have to substitute another word.

I heard some idiot bimbo on CNN tonight pronounce the word “assuage” as “ah-sewerage”.
It was on the teleprompter and she apparently had never seen or heard of it before.

If I were reading it quickly, it might throw me a bit too.
Still, I have heard it used many times and would probably get it right.
I know how it is pronounced, but I have seldom seen it in print.

“...by likely a vehicle-borne improved explosive device.”
Was it new and improved? Guaranteed to wipe out 50% more than the old explosive device?

Why are we still there?I remember an answer the first time, way back when, that it became obvious that GWB was into nation-building there. One reason we were given is so that Afghani girls could learn to read.
