A US official tells ABC News at least 11 have been wounded, by likely a vehicle-borne improved explosive device. I find it sad when they run out of the word "improvised" and have to substitute another word.

I heard some idiot bimbo on CNN tonight pronounce the word “assuage” as “ah-sewerage”.
It was on the teleprompter and she apparently had never seen or heard of it before.
