Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump, who has said in recent days that Minnesota is his to win, will make his first public visit to the state Sunday afternoon.
Were going up to Minnesota which, traditionally has not been Republican at all, Trump said at a rally in Florida. And were doing phenomenally. We just saw a poll.
The Trump rally will be at 2 p.m. at the Sun Country hangar at the Minneapolis-St. Paul airport, located at 2005 Cargo Road. Gates will open at 11 a.m. Tickets are required and can be requested on Trumps website....

Can't answer that for the Trump Minneapolis rally.
Pence is having a rally in Duluth tomorrow at the airport there. We requested tickets early this a.m. and still haven't heard back... which may mean it's filled up!
Have seen one Clinton yard sign yet many Trump signs in our travels here in the Northern MN/Iron Range/Duluth area... Quite surprising for this DFL arena!
My family is there and they said it is packed. People have been lining up since 9:00 AM. They are waiting in a line that is blocks long and they are not sure if they will even get in.
After Fargo season two, I figured Rock County to be Trump country. OK then.

see the crowd here,l and the only [people who pans the crowds at Trumps rallies.
looking great!
I have thought Minnesota is a state ripe for realignment for awhile that should be worked on as a long term project like the Dems did to Virginia.
I hope he would also write a check and saturate Minnesota’s airwaves these last couple of days - there would probably be very little political advertising in that state and he would dominate the same.
I was at the Sun Country hanger. At 1:45 they closed the doors and turned people away. Thousands of people were turned away. I was amazed at the numbers of people. Most were whited, but there were young, old, kids, wheel chairs, bikers, 20 somethings... on and on. There were head bangers, families and we all called our selves DEPLORABLE. About 45% were women, 50% men and 5% were what ever they felt like that day...
The local radio station is to broadcast DJT’s speech. So I call the station and ask them to announce that people are being turned away. The guy hung up on me. I thought it was my phone. I call again, and the little p..s.sy
hung up on me a 2d time.
So the report that someone here posted claiming it was canceled was BS.
What a dull, lifeless crowd. Trump notices it and calls them politically correct.
That's the "Iron Range". It was solid blue a couple of decades ago.
As I've posted earlier, it was extremely late returns from the Iron Range with an overwhelming percentage of votes for Mondale that kept Reagan from winning MN in 1984 (by only a few thousand votes). Ever since, I've believe that Reagan really did win in MN.
If Pence thinks there's enough support there to warrant a campaign stop, this really is a big deal.
MN.-81% white. Saw stat yesterday.
Lots of Somalian’s
Ya, sure! You betcha! That part of the state is pretty conservative.. but the movie looked a lot more like western Canada that any part of the state I’ve traveled to.
In normally deep blue CT you can easily find a Trump sign, but have to look really hard to find a Hillary sign. I drove thru a area today had Obama sign on almost every lawn in 08/12, easily 4-60 signs. Today I counted two Hillary signs and about a dozen Trump signs.
I still have no clue what the means this election.
“New Jersey may flip. This is a weird election.”
If so PIAPS has almost no road to the White House
MN favorite son Mondale was running vs Reagan in 1984. The ONLY state he didn’t carry stuck with him. Oh, and DC if you want to count that.
In 1984, MN wasn’t overrun with refugees from all the far flung corners of the globe. I think that has awakened them to the downside of progressivism. And, as Trump said during the speech, MN ranks 4th among all states on lost jobs. It may be an easier sale that we’re thinking, tho no guarantees.
I just drove from Willmar to Jamestown, counting signs along the way. Trump 42. Beast 3.
That was after driving from Waco, TX to Willmar. Trump 50. Beast 3. (Interstate almost the entire time)
The lack of grassroots evidence of Hillary support it extremely odd.
“If Pence thinks there’s enough support there to warrant a campaign stop, this really is a big deal.”
to me, conway just now on hannity does not sound all that confident about FL—sounds like possibly preparing supporters for a loss there, saying things like w “only won by 547 votes with his brother as governor of the state”, with “all the infrastructure and republicans behind him” and “we don’t have that”. not exactly encouraging....
that makes me wonder if the minnesota visits are a hail mary pass.
At 10:10 AM, there were already ~450 cars parked there and a 25-minute wait to get in, with ~500 to ~1000 people already inside.
At noon, the lines were even longer than at 10:10 AM.
According to MN Public Radio, the GOP chair for MN said there were 17,000 tickets printed out online.
Someone said on-site that there were 5,000 people in the hangar before the Fire Marshall closed it, and thousands more outside.
The crowd was completely fired up, containing many from outstate as well as the Twin Cities area; several people I talked to said "I can't believe so many people think just like me" as anecdotes from FR and the alt-right (Wikileaks, reddit/The_Donald, etc.) were swapped back and forth.
Remember that this was competing with (same time slot) a Vikings home game, too. The light rail heading towards downtown was a sea of purple football jerseys.
