Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump, who has said in recent days that Minnesota is his to win, will make his first public visit to the state Sunday afternoon.
Were going up to Minnesota which, traditionally has not been Republican at all, Trump said at a rally in Florida. And were doing phenomenally. We just saw a poll.
The Trump rally will be at 2 p.m. at the Sun Country hangar at the Minneapolis-St. Paul airport, located at 2005 Cargo Road. Gates will open at 11 a.m. Tickets are required and can be requested on Trumps website....

This could be YUUUUGGGE!
It’s like watching the allies closing in on Berlin in the final days of WWII
While they might not win Minnesota...this will help rally the voters in NW Wisconsin too.
Let’s just hope there are enough of us out in the hinterlands to offset the metro.... you couldn’t light a good bonfire with the Hillary signs you see between Bemidji and Hillsboro ND... and that road runs completely through the White Earth Reservation... normally a strong dem presence.
I am dying to find out what that poll shows. Someone on another thread mentioned a poll that had Trump within 3 points.
Is anybody there yet lining up for a seat?
Minnesota was the only state Reagan did not win in 1984.
I would love to see the poll he referred to.
I doubt seriously that he has a shot at MN.
And Charlie Sykes (a #Never Trumper) didn’t get the memo. He announced this AM that Trump would be in West Allis this afternoon (a scheduled visit cancelled in favor of MN.)
Hard to say... it’s the middle of deer season here.
That’s because he was running against Walter Mondale....he was from Minnesota.
Odd choice for the direction of the Trump campaign in its last days. Sort of like Hillary going to South Carolina.
If Hillary had internal polls showing her up in South Carolina she’d be there right now.
Last week Team Trump had it -1
The GOP has not won MN since 1972. I don’t expect that to change in this election.
Do you have access to the internal polls? I know I don’t.
I said it was an odd choice given the past 50 years. This being a state that elected Franken twice to the US Senate.
New Jersey may flip. This is a weird election.
Maybe MN could offset the fraud in VA.
Different dynamic. The Iron Range has been hurting as badly as the rest of the Rust Belt and if it turns, all the champagne socialists in Minneapolis-St.Paul will not be able to offset the loss.
