Trump is now at 45 percent with likely voters, up seven points from his low of 38 percent earlier in the month. Hillary Clinton is at 47 percent while Gary Johnson is at four percent and Jill Stein is at two percent.
That marks a seven point jump for Trump in just four days. Trumps opponent Hillary Clinton has seen her numbers drop three points in the same time period, making a 10 point swing in Trumps favor.

IBD: yes they claim to be the most accurate. But they can play with their numbers.
In 2008, IBD was showing McCain much better than the average of polls. Right before the election (the last 3 days), IBD’s poll had a huge jump for Obama. They jumped all the way up near the average of polls. That is how they became “accurate” that year.
Officially, they allocated all the “undecided” voters, mostly to Obama.

look at the graph how IBD jumped up in 3 days. I call that manipulation so they could reach the “average”.

The previous poll was an inaccurate outlier.

It’s shenanigans like this that lead me to hesitate trusting any of the polls, including the ones favorable to Trump.

Will this poll put Trump ahead tomorrow in time to be on all the Sunday talk shows? That would be rich, after last Sunday’s propaganda poll.
To: conservativepoet
She was never that far ahead. By election day the polls will have her up by a point, with a 4 or 5 point margin of error. That way, no matter what happens (within reason), they can claim to have been accurate. It’s all crap, intended to drive the narrative of her inevitability.

There is no “swing”. People decided a long time ago who they were going to vote for, and it generally doesn’t change.
The pollsters are just having to make their numbers align better with reality so they are not too embarrassed on Nov 9.

They are just not faking the poll numbers as much as the election gets closer.

Back in 1980 the LSM and the pollsters swore up and down Jimmah Carter was going to handily win re election against Reagan, until a couple of days before the election then BADA BING! the polls tightened up. They're slowly coming to the realization that providing aid and comfort to Her Heinous, is, no pun intended, TRUMPED by the need to at least maintain a pretense of credibility.

Rush called it. The polls skew Dem to suppress Pub votes, then come back to earth before the elections so they don’t look like idiots.

A landside vote is 60% if I remember correctly. Trump will not get 60% of the vote unless we expel every one of the 30 million illegals and muslims by the 7th of Nov and you know the odds of that.
