At 03:34 minutes into the interview Cokie Roberts says a phrase that I have never heard. It sounds like she is saying sachavaca. What does this mean?
Thanks, G
I can’t see it but “Santa vaca” is Spanish for “holy cow”.
Does that sound like it?
It’s not English...or they did an edit and screwed it up
It’s “soto voce”, Italian for “whisper”.
“Sotto voce.” Under one’s breath; in a quiet voice.
David Shuster:
DNC delegate: If @HillaryClinton withdraws, every indication now committee will vote to replace with Biden. @BernieSanders team scrambling

I never try to get in the rotted mind of someone as deluded as Kooky.
They might also start using a different word: “sedevacatism”. The empty chair. It’s a Catholic thing — some (heretical) Catholics believe that the Pope has not been a true Pope since the death of Pius XII in 1958.
If Hillary is replaced with (say) Joe Biden, would the voters consider him a “real” nominee? They didn’t pick him.

yes, sotto voce. Would you expect anything less from those creeps?
I’m still recovering from listening to that NPR homo and bug-eyed Kookie Roberts’ drivel but what she said, rather poorly, was “sotto voce” which means speaking quietly, under one’s breath, so as not to be heard.
How can Biden come in now? Sheesh, Bernie really won anyway over Clinton if not for the Super Delegates.
I pray this sends Sandersnistas over the edge to either not vote or vote for Trump
NPR presumes all their listeners speak Italian, apparently.
My first response to “what is Cokie Roberts saying?” is, “who cares?”
.... definition: (of singing or a spoken remark) in a quiet voice, as if not to be overheard.
Leave it to this ass hat clown of a talking head to use an obscure reference like this while talking to the U. S. public about a serious issue of this nature.
While the words do fit the situation, showing off isn’t the goal here. Speaking to the American public in a language they can understand is, so they can grasp the issue.
This woman confirms my thoughts about her just about every time I am pulled into noting what she has said.
What is Cokie saying?
Clinton didn’t stumble. She was carried to make it look like she was walking, but Lo, feet do not work when you are having an episode and she lost a shoe. Security team was not surprised or worried or even alarmed. Instead of taking her to a local hospital, they take her to Chelsea’s apartment? She has a serious health condition. Something chronic. Stop lying!
She is not physically fit to be President of the US!
Who listens to that clown anyway?
