Hillary Clinton has received a small convention bounce, lifting the Democratic nominee back into a narrow lead over Donald Trump across 11 swing states, according to the latest wave of the YouGov/CBS News 2016 Battleground Tracker. The findings are part of the latest installment of a panel study polling likely voters in competitive states before and after each party’s nominating convention.
In the latest survey, Clinton receives the support of 43% of likely voters, a two-point post-convention bounce equal to the two-point bounce Donald Trump received last week. Clinton gained most of her new support from undecided and third-party voters, but Donald Trump also dipped back down a single percentage point, meaning Clinton has gone from one point behind to two points ahead in a week.
YouGov interviewed likely voters from Colorado, Florida, Iowa, Michigan, North Carolina, New Hampshire, Nevada, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Virginia and Wisconsin.

It didn’t happen. In a word, she blew it.

But I’d say throwing in the email question, and it’s wording, was detrimental to Trump.
There was something really odd about them showing past presidents and then Hillary all giddy and unbecoming standing there as the scene on screen disintegrated. She looked about as presidential as a 65 year old baby-sitter with a third grade education.
I thought to myself, did they realize how nonresidential they just made her look?
I think you’re right. This woman is not presidential, and voters know it.
Name one thing in her life she or her husband haven’t screwed up.

Watch the USC Poll. It is a poll of the same 3000 poll participants. Each participant is polled once a week with 1/7th polled each day. The daily polling data is then used to recompute the poll which is published daily.
Why is this a good methodology? Good question.
Answer: Because the mix of D/R/I is fixed and cannot be manipulated. Manipulating the sample is the main method used by the MSM to twist the polling in Hillary’s favor. You can’t do that with the USC Poll.
Another reason I like this poll: Trump is ahead and has been almost continuously since the poll began in early July. Not by a mile but by a believable amount. Plus the fluctuations in the USC Poll are very reasonable. No 15 point swings overnight.
