Virginia Gov. Terry McAuliffe said Saturday hes already begun restoring the voting rights of convicted felons one-by-one, after the state Supreme Court rescinded his executive action granting voting rights en masse to more than 200,000 people convicted of serious crimes.
Last night I instructed my staff to comply with the courts order and individually restore the rights of the more than 13,000 Virginians who had successfully registered to vote following my April 22nd executive order, Mr. McAuliffe said in an email to supporters. Soon they will have their rights back and will be able to have a voice in their society once and for all.
Mr. McAuliffe, a Democrat and longtime ally of Hillary Clinton, said hes also ordered his staff to start working through the entire list of more than 200,000 Virginians whom we have identified as eligible to have their rights restored according to the criteria I have set.

Any way the court can have him arrested?
McAwful owes everything to the Klitons.
If they go down, he goes down.
And of COURSE the court won’t do anything until AFTER the election. Plus I bet a million dollars he is doing it with auto pen and not individually signing them. I bet he will do two or three in front of cameras and the rest the staff are stuffing through the auto pen machine. Believe me I know all about it. I was on 3 Admiral Staffs and they rarely signed anything by hand.
Isn’t McAuliffe under indictment at the moment for illegal campaign contribution shenanigans?
Dems know if they lose Virginia - they’ve lost the election.
It appears he’s doing it “legally.”
It was “legally” done last time too. Until the Court said it was not. Let’s see if they’ll rule again.
To start with he has to write 200,000 justifications for this and this can only be done when the local legislature is off (which I think is AFTER) the election.
Should get denied in court again.
Obviously, McAuliffe loves Obama’s lawless U.S. When you’re a Democrat politician, you can do whatever you want to do. Laws do not apply to Democrat politicians. We the People need to show the boy who is running this chicken coop and throw his ass out into the street where it belongs.
The court told him “no” and he does it anyway. What is the point if the law?
Wasn’t that struck down? http://www.inusanews.com/article/1559311511/virginia-highest-court-strikes-governor-executive-order-restoring-voting-rights-felons
Perhaps the will return the favor by not recognizing him some day and make him the victim of a crime.
Mad dog.
If Terry is to be President, hillary must first be elected
Most states allow ex-felons to reacquire their voting rights. Heck, I think actual prisoners in Maine can keep voting. In Virginia (as in several other states), the governor or even the courts can legally restore voting rights.

One of these orders will be for someone I know who had already registered.
Lost his right because he got caught with his pants down in the backseat of a car and panicked when the cop rolled up. Ran like a fool and slammed his car into a pole less than a mile up the road.
Miraculously they both only had minor injuries after going through the windshield. Felony eluding.
A very excited Trump voter.
This may not turn out like McAwful thinks.
This is pretty blatant.
A good lawyer should be able to file a case and injunction that the Governor’s ‘individual’ rights restoration amounts to the same as an ‘en masse’ restoration.
A restraining order or prelim injunction would push this McCauliffe abomination into next year when it won’t matter for what he wants to do which is get democrat convicts on the voter rolls by a phone and pen.
When is he up for reelection?
It was struck down for a blanket restoration. This time he’s restoring rights “individually.”
