Friday on “CBS This Morning,” while discussing the terror attack that resulted in 84 deaths and over 100 injuries in Nice, France, former CIA deputy director Mike Morell said, “I think it’s just a matter of time before we see attacks of this size here in the United States.”
Morell said, “I think things are going to get worse before they get better. As we put more pressure on them in Iraq and Syria, they’ll have a greater incentive to conduct attacks, inspire attacks because they want to show they’re still relevant. And as we’re more successful in Iraq and Syria, all those thousands and thousands of fighters who went there are going to start coming home. So you’ll see more all those people who went there, were trained, have military experience, come back home, conduct very serious attacks.”

To start with only school no gun zones except for teachers and security.
Anywhere else people should be able to carry in the open on a holster IMO.
I don’t on a gun, but boy do I see the need in general for less restrictive carrying laws after people pass background checks and get training.

Not all of the firearms are distributed evenly. Some folks have 20 or 30 firearms and other have none. Some of those 100 people are under the age of 18 and not allowed by federal law to purchase a firearm from an FFL dealer. Some of those 100 people because of prior felonies, mental health issues, dishonorable discharges, etc. are not allowed to purchase firearms from an FFL dealer. Still there are enough firearms for for all responsible adults, if shared.
If we assume 2 people per household is an average number then there would on average be a firearm in a lot of homes.
We can probably assume that if people are very afraid, a high number of people will have a firearm nearby. During the Watts riots, it was fairly common for LA drivers to have a firearm, say a rifle or shotgun in the trunk of their car in an unloaded condition, still legal but potentially available and quick to load.
Ultimately, if government won't protect the people of the USA, then the people of the USA will through vigilante groups protect themselves. That is how the US differs from France.
When it happens Obama should be subjected the standard punishment for traitors.

The only guaranteed way of preventing terrorists attacks of that kind in the United States is to take away the guns of law abiding citizens and import more Middle Eastern Muslims. It will be fixed just fine. Paul Ryan and any number of globalists glow at the thought.
