Corporate America is learning a lesson: Dont cross Donald Trump.
One year ago, Trump upended American politics when he declared he was a candidate for president.
Macys promptly declared it was cutting ties and dumping Trumps clothing line because of disparaging remarks about Mexicans.
Trump fired back, declaring the company supports illegal immigration. His supporters even shredded their Macys credit cards and tens of thousands called to complain about the companys cave to political correctness.
Trump himself also called for a boycott of the company.

I cancelled my account last year over this and am happy to see PC Macy's suffer the consequences.
Following Target and JC Penny’s.
and a Judge said you can Shoplift there all you want
It always amazes me that American businesses think it’s good business to side against America.
I remember the Dixie Chicks going overseas during George W Bush’s first term and saying (paraphrasing): “We hate our president, we’re ashamed of our country — and by the way our new album comes out tomorrow! Please buy it!”
Dumbest move ever. They sank like a stone after that. Their fan-base clearly held another view of America.
Macy’s? They could shut up and stay out of politics (smart move) or they could openly and explicitly side with illegal aliens and foreign nationals from Mexico.
They chose badly.
Trump is a successful businessman — in part because he avoid stupid moves like siding against America.
I coined a new word Macycide and send that to the CEO’s and local business owners who go Never Trump! I tell them that they are committing Macycide with their Never Trump BS.
Before this happened Macy’s was my favorite online shopping place for the women in my family.
Now they get nothing.
I will send a copy of your one year Macy stock chart to future Never Trumpers.
Will Apple have the same problem?.
Went in the Apple Store on a Friday afternoon and it was empty
JCP is leading the train. Macy’s jumped on board about a year ago.
Target’s plunge is even more dramatic. It’s time corporate bullies, such as Apple’s Tim Cook, learn that conservatives are good customers, until you antagonize them with Leftist propaganda. These companies should be flushed, along with the sewage they are pushing onto our culture.
Macy’s stock was on the rise at the time. It jumped another $5 in the next 2 weeks, after it’s announcement. Then Trump got traction and it’s been down hill for Macy’s since. They are just a little higher than they were 5 years ago.

I’m sure a similar chart exists for Bill Kristol’s Influence.
...and George Will, Jonah Goldberg, Erick Ericson, et. al.
It amazes me that companies like Target, Macy's, Kelloggs, etc... want to get involved in highly divisive social and political issues, or at great risk, use them for cheap marketing stunts. Its really stupid business - and shows the complete bureaucracy and blindness of their leaders.
macys should know better
Hope they crash and burn...forever.

Since rolling out its new policy, Target’s stock has plummeted. The companys CEO has defended the rule allowing men in womens restrooms as inclusive, despite more than 1 million people signing an American Family Association (AFA) petition to boycott Target and pushback from shareholders.
LifeSiteNews sponsored a #FlushTarget moving billboard truck that visited every Target store in the companys home state of Minnesota. The #FlushTarget campaign also blanketed televisions in Minnesota and western Wisconsin with a powerful video ad showing the dangers of the new policy. The video has been viewed more than 1 million times online.

Target is next for the dumpster.
Macycide. I like it. Happy to see morons mixing and drinking their own koolaid.
You diss The Donald only at your own great peril.
Now perhaps there is an intellectual level at which you may air disagreements with The Donald, and get a respectful and reasoned resplnse. But to make a blanket accusation that The Donald is racist/sexist/homophobic/Islamophobic, with no historical context, but simply because he has now declared himself to be a Republican and is the presumptive candidate for the Presidency, is to dive into stereotyping and to exhibit very shallow thinking. Or no thinking at all, but just reflexive Pa
The Donald is none of these things, and those who choose to pass around this fabrication as the foundation of their bias against The Donald, are deserving of the scorn and wrath they invite. In fact, The Donald is EXACTLY the candidate the pundits and campaign managers have been saying for years that the Republicans should put up, and now that he has arrived in the flesh and the reality is before them, they are visibly at a loss to recognize The Donald for what he is.
“Its really stupid business - and shows the complete bureaucracy and blindness of their leaders. “
It’s the PC factor that allows them to feel so smug and safe. They feel so sure and smug and safe that they are blinded to the fact that PC is descending into crazy land.
Ha ha! Too bad for Macy’s. I won’t miss them if they go away.
