Italy (Ammoland.com) Pope Francis spoke with a group of young people at a rally of thousands at the end of the first day of his trip to the Italian city of Turin.
Francis started by attacking the Right to Keep and Bear Arms as well as accusing the allies during World War Two of being complicit in the killing of Jews, Christians and homosexuals.
Francis issued his toughest condemnation to date of the weapons industry, saying.
If you trust only men you have lost, he told the young people in a long, rambling talk about war, trust and politics after putting aside his prepared address.
It makes me think of people, managers, businessmen who call themselves Christian and they manufacture weapons. That leads to a bit a distrust, doesnt it? he said to applause.
He also criticized those who invest in weapons industries (gun owners), saying duplicity is the currency of today they say one thing and do another.
Francis also built on comments he has made in the past about events during the first and second world wars.
He spoke of the tragedy of the Shoah, using the Hebrew term for the Holocaust.
The great powers had the pictures of the railway lines that brought the trains to the concentration camps like Auschwitz to kill Jews, Christians, homosexuals, everybody. Why didnt they bomb (the railway lines)?
It is surely an upside down world when the representative of G* on earth disparages the right to self defense and accuses the Greatest Generation of being complicit in Hitlers genocide and the destruction of Europe and Russia.
See those guys in suits and red ties? They probably all have modern subguns or PDWs tucked out of sight.
Do you have any Biblical support for this statement?
Same Biblical support statement the pope used for his idiotic statement.
He is not the representative of God on earth.
He is the Pope. What his personal opinions are makes no difference to me as long as he doesn’t try to change doctrine.
I do wish though that he would STFU. He really has no clue about real life.
In other words....you have no support for your statement.
Doesn’t the Swiss Guard have an armory? They have guns they bought from manufacturers, they are Christians.
Pope Frank is a hypocrite.
I am for Perazzi, Beretta, Rizinni, Guerini, and many other fine Italian gun makers. I feel sorry for anyone that has to acknowledge this Pope as their leader.
‘I’ve read FDR didn’t want the war to become one of saving the Jews in Europe. It was easier to rally the people around defeating the Nazis than saving the Jews.”
FDR was an anti-Semite and there was quite of lot of anti-Semitism in the US at that time.
Do a web search for “Vatican armory”. You’ll see rows and rows of modern and vintage firearms. Ceremonial armor, too.
And he used it as well..................
I saw it on a Catholic site I used to frequent. Haven't been to Mass since.
>>Since you brought it up, we can thank him for the gay-centric Episcopalian and UCC churches as well...
Since you brought that up, don’t forget the homosexual priests who like their boys young and tender and the Bishops who keep them moving so no one figures it out.
Shoes will catch falling sparks and burn the ankles and socks. They are walking in sand which smothers the sparks, and the sweat with clothing on makes one miserable. I have worked as a blacksmith and horseshoer and in steel fabrication.
Now stick welding is different as the welding rays will burn you like sunburn so you have to have on shoes and heavy clothing or leather gear. Makes one miserable. You soon learn to dance a quick jig when a spark goes down inside your steel toed boots.
And how does he feel about the killing of the unborn innocent?
I am Christian no longer so sayeth he who fills the shoes of the fisherman.
There have been bad/evil popes before. I am sure there will be more in the future.
Lighten up Francis and open your Jesuit eyes to the fact that there is need for a New Crusade.
Geez.
I am a Republican and the Republican Party Chiefs hate me.
I am a Catholic and the Pope hates me.
I guess it’s time to quit both Organizations.
How would the pope know if I am Christian or not? I would submit that I am a lot closer to Gods Word than he is....
Interesting. Thanks. My experience is limited to stick and TIG welding. Haven’t had a spark in my boots. Have had a spark in my shirt. Ow.
Would Catholics really follow this pope into the put of hell?? Cos that’s were he seems to be leading them.
