Hugh Hewitt: GOP Should Change Convention Rules to Dump Trump
Breitbart.com ^ | Alex Swoyer

Conservative radio host Hugh Hewitt suggests the Republican Party should change the rules ahead of the GOP National Convention so presumptive Republican nominee Donald Trump can be replaced.

“It’s like ignoring stage-four cancer. You can’t do it, you gotta go attack it,” Hewitt says. “And right now the Republican Party is facing — the plane is headed towards the mountain after the last 72 hours.”

“I wanna support the nominee of the party, but I think the party ought to change the nominee. Because we’re going to get killed with this nominee,” he added.

Hewitt. Not neutral when you have all the anti-trumps on and using trained lawyer techniques back them up. Hewitt is, in the end, jealous of Trump... For his money, his women, and most of all a natural sincerity that comes from within, and can’t be learned.

Any Republican willing to seriously trash other Republicans quickly becomes the darling of the New York Times and MSNBC... It’s how John McCain became known as a ‘maverick’... willingness to trash his own party.

Have you noticed there are no democrat ‘mavericks’? If a democrat trashes other democrats he becomes persona non grata to the MSM.

They drop him like a hot potato.

Yep. Michael Reagan morphed into a loudmouth GOPe hack awhile ago. His dad would be disavowing him.

Mike Gallagher is the only voice of reason in that whole miserable lot of radio talkers. He excoriated Hewitt today.

Could Hewitt really be so out of touch that he could possibly think that the party would survive the machinations at the convention that he wants? The Republican Party would immediately and most likely permanently lose a huge chunk of its electorate, ensuring that it never wins another national election.

I think we should start calling Hewitt “The Whig” for what he hopes to do to the GOP. He really is just another reminder of the contempt our establishment overlords have for us regular voters and how disconnected people like him are from reality.

La Raza Founder: ‘We Have Got To Eliminate The White Man. We Have Got To Kill Him’

http://www.redflagnews.com/headlines-2015/watch-la-raza-founder-we-have-got-to-eliminate-the-white-man-we-have-got-to-kill-him

Bill Clinton gave this aspiring mass murderer the Presidential Medal of Freedom. In addition to co-founding La Raza, he is also an attorney and professor at the University of Texas at Arlington.

David Horowitz features Gutierrez in his 2006 book The Professors — The 101 Most Dangerous Academics in America. According to Horowitz, Gutierrez is the 6th most dangerous Academic in America.

Cesar Chavez said that La Raza is racist

“...while reading a memoir/history of the immigration reform movement by retired historian Otis Graham (who’s on CIS’s board), I find out that even Cesar Chavez rejected the “la raza” idea as inherently racist. Graham quoted a 1969 New Yorker profile by Peter Matthiessen:

“I hear more and more Mexicans talking about la raza—to build up their pride, you know,” Chavez told me. “Some people don’t look at it as racism, but when you say ‘la raza,’ you are saying an anti-gringo thing, and it won’t stop there. Today it’s anti-gringo, tomorrow it will be anti-Negro, and the day after it will be anti-Filipino, anti-Puerto Rican. And then it will be anti-poor-Mexican, and anti-darker-skinned Mexican. ... La raza is a very dangerous concept. I speak very strongly against it among the chicanos.”

...in Sal Si Puedes: Cesar Chavez and the New American Revolution, his 1970 biography, Matthiessen talked to Chavez deputy Leroy Chatfield:

“That’s one of the reasons he is so upset about la raza. The same Mexicans that ten years ago were talking about themselves as Spaniards are coming on real strong these days as Mexicans. Everyone should be proud of what they are, of course, but race is only skin-deep. It’s phony and it comes out of frustration; the la raza people are not secure. They look upon Cesar as their ‘dumb Mexican’ leader; he’s become their saint. But he doesn’t want any part of it. He said to me just the other day, ‘Can’t they understand that that’s just the way Hitler started?’ A few months ago the Ford Foundation funded a la raza group and Cesar really told them off. The foundation liked the outfit’s sense of pride or something, and Cesar tried to explain to them what the origin of the word was, that it’s related to Hitler’s concept.”

In 1968, the Ford Foundation started the Southwest Council of La Raza, presumably the “outfit” Chatfield was referring to, which five years later changed its name to the National Council of La Raza.”

Chavez’s wife has just died.

Trump got the most primary votes ever. Would the GOP ever win anything again if they left?

What the RINOs like to say is that Trump NEVER got the majority of the votes, all the while ignoring the votes were being split by 17 candidates!!!!!

That’s because the Republicans are just the Washington Generals to the Democrat’s Harlem Globetrotters. They are there for show only. And they are paid handsomely for that.

I only listen to HH when he had Dr. Larry Arnt (sp?) from Hillsdale College on... that man shares so much great wisdom, knowledge of history, and love of Winston Churchill and I greatly appreciate him whenever I get to hear him.

Otherwise, HH’s incredible boner for loser Mitt Romney is downright embarrasing, and makes me eant to hand HH a big notebook but since it’s audio, not even that would hide it. Definitely lost me as an otherwise regular listener years ago.

“Then I look at a guy like Hugh Hewitt, and I say “I’m counting on it.””

I am counting on Trump destroying the Republican Party.

Trump is the leader of the GOP and he controls 62% of the convention delegates with more uncommitted to come. Is he going to dump himself? I don’t think so. Trump will also be running the convention.

The GOPe is going to do everything within their power to undermine the candidacy of their own nominee because that nominee is an existential threat to their own grip on power.

Yes-Buckeye, I remember this as I was a long time listener to Hugh until he went off the reservation. I don’t think Candy Crowley ever came back on his show after her ambush attempt.

I’ve had it with Meded. He’s lost this listener.

I never listened to him. Way too boring. But, I was a listener to Markhole, Rush, and Hannity. I discovered that during this election, they are merely entertainers and little more. They do not sway opinion like they think they do and some are in-fact very corrupt (Levin's book deals and Cruz Pac kickbacks and Limbaugh's cigar dinners). I admit it was tough at first turning them off, but as time went on it got easy. The only show I listen to is Hannity on the drive home for entertainment. He, by far, is the most even handed host and rarely comes off as a kingmaker like the others.

What other Republican could they put up and win against Clinton at this stage?

None.

JBush? Romney3peat? Ryan?

If they do dump Trump, they are dumping at least half of the voters who voted for Trump in the primaries.

The Party of Stupid again is showing why they are called The Party of Stupid — they keep earning the title and pulling defeat out of the jaws of victory.

And, most of the establishment don't really care that Clinton wins, because their gravy train continues.
