Democrats could hardly believe their good fortune last month when it became clear that Hillary Clinton was headed to a general election showdown with Donald J. Trump. Mr. Trump carried so much baggage and had insulted so many voting blocs that some Clinton supporters began to imagine a landslide.
But early optimism that this would be an easy race is evaporating. In the corridors of Congress, on airplane shuttles between New York and Washington, at donor gatherings and on conference calls, anxiety is spreading through the Democratic Party that Mrs. Clinton is struggling to find her footing.

New York Times is deeply worried the election isn’t the cakewalk the Left thought it would be.
Hillary’s nomination isn’t the glided with roses path she anticipated it would be.

Hillary and the democrats expected the “typical Republican”, that polished statesman who spouted all the politically correct niceties with that thumb and index finger pressed together in a “here’s your ticket” gesture.
Someone they could paint with every awful thing, forcing him onto defense. Someone who would apologize profusely for even an unclear slight of some interest group. Someone who would take the high road like McCain and Romney and not strike at the democrat’s true vulnerabilities.
They didn’t get that. They haven’t a clue what to do about that, much less the fact that their frontrunners are an unlikable old bat under criminal investigation and a crusty old socialist.
Hillary needs to wallop The Bern before she contemplates taking on Trump.
So far that’s been easier said than done.
Hillary was expecting to run against Designated Loser Jeb.

Come on, Amy. Go win a Pulitzer. Attached is my private clip from a June 2000 Hillary fundraiser. We allowed ABC to use material for a 20/20 several years ago. When they put it on their website a year ago we made them remove it because they did not pay for another license. So not that many people have seen it.
Connect the dots, Amy. You know that Hillary was lying when she said gave little thought to setting up email. All she had to do was let the IT pros set it up for her. Pagliano plead the 5th because he did not want to feel the wrath of Hillary. My clip shows exactly why he was hired. She instructed him to set up a system that she could control and be able to delete as was necessary. And nothing to have to turn over in those pesky FOIA requests.
Don’t you wonder what Pagliano told the FBI now that he has an immunity deal? Did he give the real reason why she hired him?
My clip makes it easy to solve the puzzle. She was afraid to use email because SHE WAS AFRAID OF INVESTIGATIONS. Why would I use email? Can you imagine?
