CRUZ said it is his "hope" that the Republicans nominate a conservative, SIGNALING THAT THE NOMINEE HAS NOT BEEN DECIDED. "What I hope is that we have a Republican nominee that will actually defend conservative principles," Cruz said.
Cruz ... is still working to elect delegates, "even though Donald has the delegates to get the nomination." "One of the reasons that we are continuing to work to elect conservatives to be delegates, ... we intend to do everything we can to fight for conservative principles to prevent Washington forces from watering down the platform."....

“Trump brings Reagans economic team out of retirement in effort to ignite a boom like the Eighties”
Would a non conservative do that.

Hey everybody, I just figured out what a True Conservative is! A True Conservative is anyone who supports Ted Cruz; everyone else, by definition, is therefore NOT a True Conservative. That is, all conservatives who support Ted Cruz are True Conservatives, but not all conservatives are True Conservatives.
I’m glad I FINALLY figured out what a True Conservative is; this has been bugging me for quite a while now, and it turns out the answer is quite simple, not complicated at all like I had originally thought.
There will always be conscientious objectors in every war.
Cruz knows many conservatives put their own narrow views over what is good for America
Only fools continue to follow the pied piper from texas
He’s disgusting.
“A lot of true conservatives refused to vote for McCain or Romney.”
TRUE FOOLS!
When did conservatism require a person to be a self righteous idiot fool?
These people are dense and are the reason that the rest of the country mocks conservatives and laugh when they repeatedly lose elections.
“True conservatives” want Hillary. Just ask Beck or Romney or any other “true conservative” you can find.
I thought it was odd too the first few dozen of times I saw it...now I’m not surprised.
Kinda makes you understand why his fellow senators hate him.
The epitome of political double talk.

No kidding.
A true conservative will not allow Hillary or Sanders the Presidency. I am having debates with members of my church who claim they will not vote for Trump. My response to them is, “So you want four to eight more years of the Obama Administration or worse. Do you really think America can survive the continued internal destruction of our moral character, much less the external threats posed by the weakening of our military?”
Love the trademark. Cruz - the fountain and spring of pure conservative thought and ideology. Go play in your ideological sandbox Cruz and let the real men lead.
SHUT UP TED...you lost...deal with reality...
and TED as a ordained Pastor for the last four decades i can say unequivocably...”real Christians” don’t do the shenanigans you did and justify it by the rules
so GO AWAY...mad or otherwise...just GO AWAY

Our best hope is that one of his big money donors dangle a carrot and he becomes a self-grubbing lobbyist rather than a politician.
Or that we demand the qualifications for potus be upheld so that he can not be tempted to run again.
Or that one of the five alleged mistresses, spills the REAL beans on Ted.
Oh, yes they did Tedlim ... blow by blow ...
Reagan has words of advice for the "true Conservatives" Mp< By Ronald Reagan in his autobiography An American Life
When I began entering into the give and take of legislative bargaining in Sacramento, a lot of the most radical conservatives who had supported me during the election didnt like it. Compromise was a dirty word to them and they wouldnt face the fact that we couldnt get all of what we wanted today. They wanted all or nothing and they wanted it all at once. If you dont get it all, some said, dont take anything. Id learned while negotiating union contracts that you seldom got everything you asked for. And I agreed with FDR, who said in 1933: I have no expectations of making a hit every time I come to bat. What I seek is the highest possible batting average. If you got seventy-five or eighty percent of what you were asking for, I say, you take it and fight for the rest later, and thats what I told these radical conservatives who never got used to it.
Yes, an I bet many that have voted for him early in the game wish they could take back their vote.
