Presumptive Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump locked, loaded and fired away at Hillary Clinton on Friday at the National Rifle Association's annual gathering in Louisville, Ky.
Trump, who seemed surprised to receive the major gun lobby's endorsement minutes before he took the stage, spent most of his speech blasting the Democratic front-runner's aggressive push for gun control and accusing her of wanting to leave Americans "defenseless."
"Hillary wants to disarm vulnerable Americans in high-crime neighborhoods. Whether it's a young, single mom in Florida or a grandmother in Ohio, Hillary wants them to be defenseless," the billionaire told thousands of gun owners in the audience.
He added, "[She] wants to take away any chance they have at survival. And that's why we're going to call her 'heartless Hillary.'"

Its been obvious for a long time that if Trump gets the nomination, which he pretty much now has, that he will trounce Hillary in the general... its not going to be close folks....
IF everything, and I do mean EVERYTHING goes as good as Hillary could possibly manage, she’ get maybe 15 states and about 180 EC votes.... More realistically she’ll get 10 or less and under 125 EC votes.
Honestly, I fully expect the Dems will replace her on the ticket at some point, because it will be obvious she’s heading for a shellacing to anyone long before the election day. The switch won’t keep Trump from winning, but might lessen the Dems loss somewhat.

I can’t believe anyone would not immediately get it. The parallels are quite easy to see.
