Poll: Overwhelming majority of Palestinians support terror

The overwhelming majority of young Palestinians believe the Israeli-Palestinian conflict cannot be resolved through negotiations.

A poll of Palestinian youth, defined as ages 16-30, published Monday by the Jerusalem Media and Communications Center depicts a community that is socially conservative, supports violence against Israel, is skeptical about its leadership and opposes the Islamic State. It also shows significantly greater support for violence among Palestinians in the Gaza Strip than among those in Judea and Samaria

While 47.4 percent of youths in Judea and Samaria oppose stabbing attacks, 78.6 percent of Gaza youths support them, according to the poll. In addition, 66.6 percent of the respondents in Gaza believe the current wave of violence serves the Palestinian cause, while 40.9 percent in the West Bank agree.

The poll is based on face-to-face interviews with a random sample of 1,000 Palestinians in Judea, Samaria and Gaza between April 13 and 19. It has a 3 percent margin of error. The average age of the respondents was 22.

The discrepancy between Ghaza and Judah and Samaria Arabs confirms what I have always believed. Settlements in Judea and Samaria are the best hope for real peace and should be expanded and encouraged. Area C should be annexed outright into Israel, and the military presence in Area B should be continued. Only with continued contact between Jews and Arabs can the latter appreciate the humanity of the former, and this can mitigate the hostility and Jew hatred taught to them in mosques and madrassahs. Ghaza is the proof of that as well. Support for violence is more widespread there, because they have no direct contact whatever with Jews, except during the occasional armed conflict. Consequently, they are more prone to believe the hatred preached to them.

Down with anti-Israeli Apartheid. I have a dream that some day Jews will be free to rent apartments in Chalchul, ElAroub and Jenin and it won't be any big deal, and that conversely Arabs will be free to rent apartments in Kiryat Arba and Bat Ayin, and everyone will be unafraid to give tramps to each other, and celebrate the blessed rainfall together.

It's just a dream. No way will it ever happen. But the one hope of things getting better, even a little, is continuation of the 'occupation' and 'settlements'.

and that Israel (and Europe, UK, USA, and Canada) need to repatriate (send them home!) as soon as humanly possible! When iran tries to nuke Israel then the U.S. will nuke Iran and then the Russians and Chinese will nuke us and we will nuke them back but not enough thanks to obama lowering our number of nukes while they have been making more.

Pakistan and India will be in as well. The EU has already nuked themselves.

Most of the civilized world will be gone. So there isn’t really any reason to worry about the iran moslems et al. The only hope there is a revolution—civil war with someone sane winning. Otherwise it is WWIII.

At least with the Arab moslems there is some hope of them dying off without nuclear war.
