Following a dramatic deterioration in official diplomatic channels between the US and Saudi Arabia when over the weekend the Saudis threatened the U.S. with dumping billions in Treasuries if Congress were to pass a bill probing into their alleged support of Sept 11 terrorists in the aftermath of last weekend's 60 Minutes report on the classified "28 pages" from the Septemeber 11 commission, moments ago the Obama administration made a stunning admission, when for the first time it revealed on the record that the Saudis were the original source of funding for Al Qaeda.
As Politico reports, Obama's deputy national security adviser, Ben Rhodes, while speaking to David Axelrod in Monday's edition of "The Axe Files" podcast said that the government of Saudi Arabia had paid "insufficient attention" to money that was being funneled into terror groups and fueled the rise of Al Qaeda when he was asked about the validity of the accusation that the Saudi government was complicit in sponsoring terrorism.
At first, he tried to tone down what amount to the first official admission of Saudi involvement in September 11, saying "I think that its complicated in the sense that, its not that it was Saudi government policy to support Al Qaeda, but there were a number of very wealthy individuals in Saudi Arabia who would contribute, sometimes directly, to extremist groups. Sometimes to charities that were kind of, ended up being ways to launder money to these groups."

“Why Why did we attack IRAQ?”
They invaded Kuwait, a UN Coalition drove them back. They violate hundreds if not thousands of terms of their surrender. Including launching HUNDREDS of SAMS against our fly boys inforcing the AGREED UPON no fly zone.
They did have nerve and mustard gas that they claimed they handed all over. Once again breaking the UN terms of surrender. Should I go on? Going into Iraq had little to do with 9/11, This place is all frothed up, Dummies Underground Part II
The seed money for Isis came from Obama and Saudi.
‘The only thing I can figure is that there is some reason for exploiting the Saudi - Iran feud by publicly taking the Iranian side’
Ask Kerry, he knows.
What I'm afraid of is that this is the beginning of the Saudi phase of the operation. Tunisia, Libya, Egypt, Syria, Saudi Arabia...
After all, Obama is way behind on his end of the schedule (Phase 4).
“Bush Lied, People Died” now takes on a while new meaning! I always thought it was so insane seeing W walk hand in hand with the Saudi king & loss him on the Effing lips! WTF was that all about!?!?? Crazy shiite! Would you ever see another world leader do that!??
Sorry for autospeller typos. Grrr
In the conflict between the Saudis and the Iranians, Obama (and Valerie Jarrett) want the latter to win. That’s why it’s time for him to take down the Saudi “royal” family before leaving office.
King Saud al-Abdulaziz gave the seed money for the Muslim Brotherhood. The successor to Banna, the original MB head, is Sayyib Qutb, who merged the ideas of Marxism and financial jihad. NPR reported in 2003 that “Qutb’s writings would later provide the ideological impetus for many radical Islamic groups of today - including al Qaeda.”
Kevin Freeman’s book, “Secret Weapon”, shows connections of Saudi, Qatari, etc Sovereign Wealth Funds with financial jihad espoused by Bin Laden and other terrorists - and shows evidence that the 2008 financial crisis was the result of financial terrorism which was made possible by the huge amounts of Muslim-controlled cash from deliberately-elevated oil prices - with the cooperation of Venezuela/Iran (Hugo Chavez was one of the biggest, most blatant enemies of the US and basically synonymous with Iran).
Qaradawi is a big MB guy - host of ash-Shariah wal-Hayat on al Jazeera (a show with an audience of 60 million spanning the globe, according to Freeman) - who said, “I like to call it jihad with money, because God has ordered us to fight enemies with our lives and our money”.
The Muslim world - both Shia and Sunni - and communist world (including Russia, China, Venezuela, and others) are united in their desire to collapse America by collapsing our economy. Russia and China are allied with Iran, Venezuela, and other Muslim nations. The two ideologies are basically merged to defeat the US and capitalism. BRICS (Brazil, Russia, India, China, and South Africa) is a financial alliance that has developed a currency intended to survive the collapse of the dollar. Freeman believes that Russia and China both have the ability (via stock market maneuvers or by cyber-warfare) and desire to collapse the dollar on their own timeline, when it will best serve their own interests.
That time may well be now.
Obama is and always has been allies with both the Islamists and the communists. He is on the team of Russia, China, Iran, Venezuela, etc. He has “flexibility” now. He wants the “fundamental transformation” of America to be his permanent legacy. He’s planning on spending November and December of this year celebrating his “successes” with Latin-American leftist regimes.
It could be that Obama knows the communist-Islamist defeat of the US is imminent, and doesn’t mind if people get a small foretaste of who their overlords are. Maybe he’s egging on Saudi Arabia to initiate the final take-down, signaling to China that it is time, before either Trump or Cruz have a chance to replace the stonewalling Obama regime which has (seemingly deliberately) kept our economy, borders, etc vulnerable to existential attack.
IMHO, the correct response to 9/11 would’ve been to simply take over Mecca and dismantle it. Just draw a perimeter around it and shoot anyone who comes across it. Nothing else.
Problem I don’t think there’s a bright line there like there is here. I have the impression that you don’t get rich in Saudi Arabia unless you’re tied to the government, probably by blood or marriage.

Thanks for that link. Wow, Obama did exactly what was necessary for that agenda. He lost Iraq, giving ISIS a base. He lost Afghanistan. He ignored the counsel of his military and intel people so he could let ISIS grow its power. He helped replace anti-terrorist Middle Eastern regimes with Muslim Brotherhood/terrorist regimes. He held the US door open for terrorists routed from Iran via Venezuela. He let Iran get nukes.
Interesting, that they expect the actual all-out war between Islam and the “infidels” to last less than 2 years. That would explain why Obama said in July of 2008 that he would be POTUS for “the next 8 to 10 years”. If some catastrophic event at the end of Obama’s final term (which would make elections and/or inauguration impossible and thus extend Obama’s “Presidency” beyond its Constitutional 8-year limit) signals the US sleeper cells to start the war, the end of the US and completion of the Islamic world caliphate would be expected to be completed before 2018. Making Obama right on track with the 10-year part of his “8 to 10 years” estimate.
It would have been 8 years if the all-out war had begun around 2014, which is around the time that Obamacare wasn’t ready to have people sign up for it, Lindsey Graham talked about South Carolina being nuked, and the Navy Yard was shot up...
no. And no, I don’t think he was a good president. Not if he covered up for a country that funded 9/11.
Agreed. four guys In prison for TRYING to take down these two great buildings.
As if four guys were the only ones behind it and not a criminal terrorist enterprise funded by a country with bit pockets.
lol
OMG! lol.
now it all makes sense :)
Pave the way for Bernie. Here is what Obama is thinking. Saudis are associated with big bucks. This was another thing that was George Bush’s fault. Hill and Bill can be connected to it too. We hate em all so that only leaves Bern.
just too devastating.
I kept wondering at the time, “Iraq?”
but you get caught up in the fever and you get blinded.
Arguments for the invasion have been made that 12 pages long on here. And some of them are good arguments.
What does that have to do with leaving S. Arabia unscathed?
