Sen. Ted Cruz was projected to win the Wisconsin primary Tuesday, delivering a stunning blow to GOP presidential front-runner Donald Trump and resetting the race as it heads east later this month.

It’s good that you saw the ‘or so’.
What will they call Trump’s 30 point beat down of Ted in NY?
“Cruz was predicted to win it two weeks ago”
But Trump said he (Trump) would win.
When you can’t trust Trump, who can you trust?
BREAKING NEWS. Cruz wins Wisconsin. Land of Cheese and the GOPe. Lol.
You missed the poll here posted in Breaking News on Monday??
Its still there. New WI Poll: Trump 42, Cruz 32, Kasich 23( American Research Group ^ | 04/04/2016 | American Research Group Posted on 4/4/2016, 2:37:02 PM by GIdget2004)
Read the comments, like this one:
Totally irrelevant.
The RCP average polls had Cruz +5. He won +13. That’s an 8 point negative poll differential against Trump. Any negative differential more than 4 or 4 and a half is disastrous... and Trump was -13 with a -8 poll differential.
This will cause many previously pledged Trump delegates to abandon him ON THE FIRST BALLOT.
And that must be Ok with Trump... because he has abandoned his pledge to support the Republican candidate, whomever he is.
Trump’s worst enemy is Trump... and his mouth.
well I don’t know why Rubio, Carson and others gave in if the goal was just to stop another guy .
Good thing Kasich stayed in right?
PFFTT
Please see my posting re: poll differential.
It is horrible news for Trump... and probably the cause of his tweeted Trumpertantrum.
Honestly, I think Trump’s entire campaign is “The Battle of the Bulge” in a desperate attempt to put this nation back on course. He may even win the Presidency, but he will eventually leave office and some other Bush-like creep will come in and finish us off.
I would probably fire whoever released that tweet. I just woke up...have we heard from the candidate himself?
No, he’ll just put out a statement and leave the petty sounding speeches to Cruz and his disciples.
Go talk to the Trump campaign and their graciously butthurt sore loser attitude to losing Wisconsin.
It was a great win for Cruz, Walker, Ryan, Bush, Levin, Beck, Rush and the rest of the DC/NYC establishment. A big loss for the people.
Pray America wakes
Exactly. Even with their ‘favorite son’ on the ticket last time, they couldn’t win Wisconsin.
I honestly want to hear from Cruz supporters which states they think Cruz can win over what Romney did. I see Trump with a chance to win new York, Florida, Virginia and Pennsylvania in the general.

More bad news in Camp Trump:
Trump campaign in disarray
Morale sinks as key battleground state staff laid off, including senior data operative.
“I believe that Donald Trump has the backbone to fix this country, but if changes are not made soon at the top I am fairly convinced that he will lose,” said one of the people who left the campaign. The person said morale among the campaign staff is sinking, attributing that to the layoffs, as well as Lewandowski’s profanity-laced outburst on campaign calls.
“I dont think Mr. Trump knows what’s happening on his campaign,” the person said, adding “everyone is in astonishment of what’s going on. It’s almost like they’re sabotaging themselves.”

Trump has the Waaaaambulance on speed dial, did also tweet out a middle-school aged girl tweet ‘Not fair’ rant?
I may eventually vote for this guy, but damn...
“Instead of portraying Cruz, it would probably be helpful for America to see what Cruzs billionaires stand for.”
Isn’t Cruz’s principal opponent a billionaire - one who says some rather strange things and then slams his mouth into reverse?
Some FReepers state that this other one may have been fake?
No class - that was a sad, pathetic, dare I say it, un-American statement put out by Trump. But he knows his days are numbered. In an open convention, he will not get the nomination.
Having said that, it has to be either him or Cruz, otherwise even I, as a Cruz supporter, will ‘take to the streets’. It can’t be someone who has not put in the effort to run, spend time on the trail, etc.
