Rolling Plunder- How Scott Walker and Paul Ryan Plan to Sell Out Wisconsin
The Conservative Treehouse ^ | March 30, 2016 | Sundance

Wise Up and Rise Up Wisconsin

Governor Scott Walker likes to display his rebel side (although it’s an illusion intended to solidify Tea-Party bona fides in optics only) by riding around on a Harley Davidson motorcycle. After all, Harley Davidson is headquartered in Wisconsin, well, for now.

Wisconsin representative, now Speaker of the House, Paul Ryan, also likes to tout his own form of fiscal conservatism. However, as the former Chairman of the budgetary ways and means committee, a federal budget is also an optical illusion (hasn’t been one since ’07).

Representative Paul Ryan and Governor Scott Walker along with RNC Chairman Reince Preibus promote themselves as proud Wisconsin cheese-heads; “conservatives” they say.

Well, given Paul Ryan’s full-throated endorsement of, and promotion for, the Trans-Pacific Trade Deal (TPP), perhaps the Wisconsin working voter would like to see exactly what they have in mind for you; and as a direct consequence for any candidate they endorse, namely Ted Cruz – who, coincidentally, was the co-author of the Trade Promotion Authority bill which was the vehicle to insure it’s passage.

But rather than go through all of the tentacles, and difficult to understand TPP construct, let’s instead use that wonderful Scott Walker (Harley Davidson motorcycle) example to show Wisconsin voters what’s really going on.

I am worn out with the stuff that falls from the Conservative Treehouse.

Someone over there at CT need to see their doctor about that ingrown tin foil. It's getting infected.

Great point regarding the Wisconsin primary ...

Harley Davidson is in Wisconsin and Walker wide open on that point ...

Don’t feed the angry Cruz trolls folks. They hate CTH because it’s Pro-Trump, so they don’t care what the thread is about. Just let them make their obnoxious little posts and ignore them like they’re not there. If you feed them, it gets worse.

Reagan obviously hated America and Conservatism in general.

Only pro-Trumpers get accused of bashing the article. Don’t you know that? (j/k)

I will say that Walker is an excellent governor who got us out of ther fiscal mess his Dem predecessor created, gave the state right to work, modified tenure to be more reasonable, drastically lowered onerous property taxes, broke the teachers’ unions and their lavish health care, voter ID, etc.

That Trump came here sounding like a Madison/Dane County radial leftist and slammed Walker and all local Republicans for “getting it wrong” and for Walker’s model to be “a failure,” having 20 % unemployment (a blatant lie - as is 4.9%), a 2 billion dollar projected budget short fall (a misdirection and the budget was balanced as by law), just handed the local Dems talking points and will get more of them elected.

Trump is a fool who opens his mouth and lost votes and quickly as people can run which his unfavorably rate continues to plunge hitting 31%. He thought WI would be tough, now it is impossible thanks to his puffed up self importance and a foul mouth. You want him? Join the Dem party and find fellow travelers.

I didn’t dislike him before, but now I do. The man is an incompetent disaster who doesn’t know where he stands unless someone tells him and even then he’d hedge. Verdict: Worse than 0bama.

Not to be a Debbie Downer but I expect Cruz will win WI and take a larger share of delegates.

Ryan and Walker are determined to sell out the country. Walker is content to (yes, courageously) fight low level battles, but on the national stage, he doesn’t want to be viewed as “intolerant.”

Ryno and Walker are fixing Wisconsin they way Mittens and the Mormons fixed Utah. Trump bounces back in the next round and scrapes Grandpa Munster Cruz off the bottom of his shoe. Then goes after the felon or the Commie and peels either like a grape.

Wisconsin (if memory serves) allows registration at the polls, requires voter ID (they don't call it that of course), and both Demwit and Pubbie primaries are open. Open primaries are supposed to favor Trump (that's the Cruzbot mantra) and of course, they still may, but Wisconsin has a deep and long (and for some, proud) tradition of socialist politics, which means, #NeverHillary and #EverBernie -- but I'd be surprised if the supposed huge Cruz lead over Trump turns out quite that way.

The article points out something that applies to most all trade agreements. Whenever the US lowers or eliminates tariffs on imported goods, that makes relocating US factories to cheap labor nations that much more profitable on goods produced with cheap labor and shipped to the US for sale.

Been going on for decades with various industries and trade agreements.

Romney astro-turf

****

Don’t recall where, but wasn’t there some back work deal during 2012 election for the VP slot with Romney?

It seems Reince Priebus was involved, because
