A super PAC supporting celebrity billionaire Donald Trump has made its first television buy, spending $1 million on a spot encouraging the Republican Party to unify behind him,
-snip-
Great America PAC, which was formed and officially registered with the Federal Election Commission on Feb. 1, spent $25,000 on radio ads in Iowa in January, but this week's buy marks the group's most significant campaign expenditure to date.
The 30-second spot will air ahead of April 26 primaries in Delaware, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island and Connecticut.

One of Trump's favorite selling points on the campaign trail is that he's self-funding his presidential run, and that his refusal of outside money spent on his behalf means he's not beholden to special interests, unlike his competitors.
-snip-
Politifact rated the assertion that Trump's campaign was self-funded "half true," noting that the funds the candidate has loaned his campaign could be eventually paid back to him through campaign contributions, or through payments to companies. Trump ultimately could reimburse himself for flights on his planes or his helicopter as well as the use of his office space for campaign activities and his 24-member personal security staff.
-snip-
According to FEC filings, as of March 1, Trump has put nearly $25 million of his own money, mostly in loans, into his presidential run. In addition, the real estate tycoon has taken in $9.5 million from individual donors and sales of merchandise, far less than most of his rivals. He has also spent a relatively paltry $33 million so far, a shoestring budget augmented by the millions of dollars worth of free media he's received since taking the GOP race by storm a year ago.

Apparently it’s more fun to have a totally divisive campaign and internal fighting than to bring down hildebeast and uncle bernie. Maybe the gopE priority list is upside down. (maybe?)
Wisconsin is a must-win for Trump and he should go all out for it.
Patience please.
It is not necessary to fight unnecessary battles in an untimely manner
It is not necessary to land paratroops in Berlin until after the Rhine has been crossed
Trump’s campaign is probably the most fiscally conservative ever....
Trump's win next Tuesday is to some degree out of his control. If enough voters sort through how involved Cruz is in misdeeds, untruths about his agenda, and "whatever it takes" campaigning, Trump will win.
Thanks for proving again that Trump is not owned by the Globalists banks and other countries like Cruz is.
But then you missed that fact
America First. That starts by not being controlled by the anti-American money like all those Ivy League DC insider Lawyers running against him are.
No Wisconsin is not a must win for Trump.
Besides with its Dem population the graveyard vote matters more then the candidates positions.
Trump has spent a paltry sum because he doesn’t have a campaign infrastructure. He holds rallies. Then, after his loyal supporters voted and caucused for him, he leaves his newly elected delegates hanging in the wind with no direction and no support.
For a man who touts his leadership and claims he will hire the best people and negotiate the best deals, he sure is failing his first big test.
Bitter won’t begin to describe the feelings of my fellow freepers who have put such faith in Trump. Know this, friends. I don’t wish that on you. I truly hope that Trump is everything you want him to be. I just don’t think he is.
The only person who has spent less on his campaign is Kasich. Clinton, despite having 100 percent name recognition, and a fawning press, has spent about $200 MILLION between her campaign and Super PAC. In Clinton’s case that was all other people’s money.
I’m glad that someone put together a Super PAC to help Trump, I also hope that Trump spends some of his money in Wisconsin and some of the other upcoming states.
What? I thought Trump didn’t take outside money.
I guess now he’s beholden to outside interests just like any other candidate.
I was proposing the same during FL - I didn’t think he was putting up enough of a money fight. I was wrong - he knows what he’s doing.
Well said.
I said the same thing about Ohio too and people pooh-poohed it. But look what happened. Kasich practically got a ticker tape parade and is now hailed as the establishment darling. Like it or not, Kasich is a real threat to rack up delegates in WI, PA and elsewhere all because of that win in Ohio. If Trump had won Ohio, Kasich would be ice fishing right now.
I'm a Trump supporter but I'm not wearing blinders. Wisconsin is a very important state for Trump to win.
Beloved bert. You are incorrect on that one. Trump wins the primary elections with little effort, but he doesn't follow through where it counts with delegate selection.
To use your analogy, he makes a great show of force but doesn't have a battle strategy beyond that.
It’s a must win in the sense that if he wins its all over. It’s probs over even if he loses but WI removes all doubt given the beatings Cruz is set up for in the following weeks.
Wisconsin not a must win. Been looking at models that have Trump losing Wisconsin but still winning nomination.
Big difference is that he hasn’t encouraged them to support him whatsoever, so no he is not beholding to them one iota.
