Ted Cruz dodges question about whether he's 'always been faithful' to his wife ...

Ted Cruz dodges question about whether he's 'always been faithful' to his wife as endorser Carly Fiorina leaps in to insist a declaration that he's not an adulterer is a 'dance to Donald trump's tune'

Texas senator could put National Enquirer scandal to rest with a simple statement that he has never strayed in his 14-year marriage

Instead he has batted down the supermarket tabloid's speculative story about five alleged affairs in a more limited fashion

Carly Fiorina leaped in to intercept DailyMail.com's request for a blanket statement of marital fidelity and Cruz ultimately punted on the question

Fiorina pleaded for a return to discussing issues, but lobbed her own accusation at 'serial adulterer' Donald Trump

Cruz also challenged Trump to a one-on-one debate in Wisconsin on Tuesday night: 'Why don't you show up and debate like a man?'

Ted Cruz declined to answer a question on Monday about whether he has ever been unfaithful to his wife Heidi.

'Senator Cruz,' DailyMail.com asked him, 'can you please swat down more definitively this National Enquirer piece by telling us on the record that you've never been unfaithful to your wife?'

The National Enquirer published a story last Wednesday that speculated about five women with whom the Republican presidential candidate was rumored to have had extramarital affairs.

Cruz has batted down the specifics of the story on numerous occasions since it appeared in supermarket checkout lanes.

But instead of making a blanket declaration that he has been faithful during the entirety of his 14-year marriage – a move that would effectively end the vicious news cycle – Cruz stood silently as campaign surrogate Carly Fiorina leapt in to intercept the question and change the subject.

I think it is highly likely you are correct about Cruz. He has the traits of a sociopathic conman. I see nothing Christ like about him...he is all words...rehearsed words.

And in the Bible, it says that the devil is the father of lies, and anyone who lies pathologically (as Cruz seems to) is certainly not abiding in Christ.

Someone on another board suggested the perfect running mate for Cruz: Gov. Nathan Deal of GA. He said that they could both share the same sheep's outfit! LOL.

But, under NO CIRCUMSTANCES... You do NOT blame another man.

Yep, it's classic scapegoating, and completely unmanly.

And you certainly do NOT drag in another woman to do your excuse-making or explaining for you.

Hey, but what are moms for? LOL.

That Carly episode was pathetic in every respect.

Well, rumor has it that she later took Ted home, read him a bedtime story, and gave him a glass of milk and chocolate-chip cookies. And then told him not listen to those mean, nasty reporters, because sticks and stones may break his bones, but names will never hurt him. ;)

Incidentally, in that interview with the hooker that Cruz supposedly slept with, she said that he seemed to need mothering, which is completely in line with what we saw Mother Superior Carly attempting in that video.

Carly comes over as the "Mother-in Law from Hell...

Cruz looks like a seriously chastised teenager.

Maybe they could shop that video over to Comedy Central. ;)

Yes she is an admitted adulteress and furthermore Ted Cruz paid her 500,000.00 dollars.
That is half a million!!!
That’s an awful lot of money to pay some woman, unless she did miracles for him.

There is no evidence that Cruz strayed from marital fidelity more than Trump.

Oh, geez, it’s worse than we thought with #DaddyCruz

Well, I hate to break this to ya, but it happens and HAS happened many times in our history.

Yes it has, even on our side. Here is an interesting read on that subject:

The Tweet you posted...................

...........will prove to be prophetic.

The Democrats, and many Republicans and those of other politial stripes, will support the Anitchrist when he comes to power. Indeed, so will much of the world.

The difference is that Trump WROTE ABOUT his adultery, while Cruz waffles, evades, bobs, weaves, deflects, and attacks.

And Trump’s platform isn’t “I am the anointed messenger of Jesus Christ and if you don’t vote for me you’re not a Christian.”

Now that is just demented. I mean Williamson’s tweet.

The order must have come down to the writers at NR: Hate Trump. We don’t care how idiotic you have to sound, you are to spew hate against Trump for the next nine months.

People don’t campaign like this against anyone out of love for country. They do it because they are protecting something evil, and they are terrified.

You’ve seen the video where he’s coming at his daughter, the one where she is screeching “Ow! Ow! No!” As he puckers up and moves in for the kill, he makes a little moaning sound like Mr. Burns. Then, having forced himself on his protesting daughter, his eyes dart around to see if the cameras are still pointed at him.

Wow. Just saw the tape, and Cruz, given a perfect opportunity by the reporter to vouch for his character, accused the reporter of being in the gutter and went after Trump. Why not just say, “Heidi is the love of my life, and I have never cheated on her.”

My point was that once should have been it and done. Accusations like this are awful and simply impossible. The more airtime you give them, the more life they have. It should be, “I’ve already addressed that issue, next question” and move on. He just cannot pass up the opportunity to spread the garbage about Trump. At this point, he could pull this whole campaign back out of the gutter, but he chooses not to.

What must be impossible for Cruz to deal with is the fact that there is now -and will remain- a dark cloud over his entire campaign. Scandals like this will be on the mind of every voter when the are about walk into the voting booth. Bleak for Cruz.

>>Has Donald Trump always been faithful to his wives?

Trump isn’t pretending to be the “Face of God” or the Godly Candidate.

Hold your opponent to his own rules. The fact that Trump can successfully employ Alinsky tactics means that he has a chance to defeat Hillary in the fall. America has changed. Candidates need to fight harder today than they did 30 years ago.

“So long as man remains free he strives for nothing so incessantly and so painfully as to find someone to worship.”
Dostoyevsky, The Brothers K if I remember correctly.

So Cruz has committed the unforgivable sin? One won’t even consider the man if he even “thought” about adultery. I imagine if we are true to our selves many of us will recognize our own failings. King David committed adultery, too, and from David, Jesus.

I’d still vote for the man if he is one of two choices come November. With 24/7 media coverage never having enough news to ponder and debate...most of which I fail to keep up with...I find it curious that though Kelly theorizes what might happen in Cleveland if “the law” is not obeyed, though there is no end to what “might” happen if this, that, the other thing...I’ve yet to come across any pundit (journalist) pondering what might happen if Cruz comes clean on the matter. I’m going to assume his wife and he have covered the topic between themselves, assume any affair he engaged in is now history. But given his response to what many perceived to be a failing on immigration...I believe he characterized that as something other than a change of direction...my guess is that we won’t see tears. But then, who knows?

The only thing that matters is that come November the tally provides a change from the path Obama has taken us because ultimately we have all sinned and have fallen short of the glory of God.
