Republican presidential front-runner Donald Trump on Sunday slammed rival Ted Cruz for the recent ad produced by an anti-Trump super-PAC featuring a photo of Trump's wife posing nude.
"From what I hear, he and his campaign went out and bought the cover shoot. Melania did a cover story for 'GQ,' a very strong modeling picture. No big deal," Trump said on ABC's "This Week."
"But it was a cover story for 'GQ,' a big magazine. And it was, you know, fine. And from what I hear, somebody bought the rights to it and he was the one or his campaign bought the rights and they gave it to the super PAC."
Trump said Cruz knew about the ad, adding he started the latest fight between the two. Last week, Trump threatened to "spill the beans" on Cruz's wife in response to the ad featuring Melania Trump. He then shared a tweet featuring a photo of his wife next to a photo of Cruz's wife, stating, "A picture is worth a thousands words."
Cruz has denied knowing anything about the ad, and called it deplorable on Sunday.
But Trump said the super PAC that produced the ad is "very friendly to Ted Cruz."
"He knew all about it, 100 percent," he said.
"There's no way in a million years that super PAC did that without his absolute knowledge."
The American public went through the Clinton years with his bad behavior and shouldn't have to go through having an immoral man like that in office again.
We are all sinners but I want to hold my leader to the same moral standards that I hold, that's all.
sCruz and lose
First, she wasn’t nude.
Second they weren’t married when the photo was taken.
And you don’t attack a man’s wife, they’ve been considered out of bounds.
sCruz knew the bottom was falling out about his sexual actions
She wasn’t nude and they weren’t married
If it’s copyrighted it isn’t in the public domain, two different issues.
I think you misunderstand me, I have no problem with the photo personally. Melania is a super model, posing mostly naked is what they do, and it made her very rich. Good for her. Children are out of bounds. Wives? Really? Have you seen the jokes on freerepublic about Michelle Obama? Or is it only out of bounds if it’s the wife of a candidate you like? Both Heidi Cruz and Melania Trump are grown professional women who know how the world works and are capable of defending themselves.
She wasn’t nude
The point is sCruz used the picture inthe ad to deflect the bomb coming about his affairs, then tried to blame Trump.
They weren’t married when she posed not nude.
On a related note the Washington Times may be running a front page story on the Cruz scandal.

Yes, I clarified that my original comment was intended to say that the photo of Melania had already been shared around the Internet, as in by social media users. Meaning it had been seen by the public.
I don’t care if she was married or not in that picture. It really doesn’t make any difference. The photo doesn’t offend me, again she’s a supermodel and posing with and mostly without clothes is her job.
It was a picture on a magazine cover, Trump is quite an actor pretending to be all offended by Ted using it. I bet if you asked him privately he’s thrilled that people got to see it again so they know how beautiful his young wife is. It is fake outrage during a contentious political campaign. My guess is Trump’s skin is a lot thicker than you give him credit for.
They weren’t married when the photos were taken
Expedite can mean a lot of things. It is the “get in line” part that matters. That line is already years long because there are quotas for legal immigration for each country. Unless the quotas are increased by Congress, the line will remain years long. So Cruz’ claim that Donald is advocating a “touch back” approach where they go home and come right back is disingenuous.
Trump doesn’t need any action from Congress to Deport them all — current law already demands it, and that process can be expedited bureaucratically without Congressional action. Nor does he need action from Congress to build a wall — it was approved by Congress in 2006 and later defunded, but the approval to build it already exists.
Follow the money — just like with the democrats.
sCruz is not a man of honor or someone to trust.
Glenn Beck had it on within a few days after Trump announced.
Someone clever should do a meme of butch Liz next to Mrs. Trump - talk about a contrast!
Just skimming the comments here, seems you’ve got all the lefts talking points down pat.
You state that the evangelicals may have a problem with Melania’s photo, to which I say, I cannot wait to see how those same people react to concrete evidence of Ted’s cheating.
It is not going away, it will get worse, and I’m be thankful when those who try and tell anyone that they are or are not christian enough, hang their heads in shame.
Lyin’ Ted is now completly damned.
This will cost Cruz the nomination.
