Republican presidential front-runner Donald Trump on Sunday slammed rival Ted Cruz for the recent ad produced by an anti-Trump super-PAC featuring a photo of Trump's wife posing nude.
"From what I hear, he and his campaign went out and bought the cover shoot. Melania did a cover story for 'GQ,' a very strong modeling picture. No big deal," Trump said on ABC's "This Week."
"But it was a cover story for 'GQ,' a big magazine. And it was, you know, fine. And from what I hear, somebody bought the rights to it and he was the one or his campaign bought the rights and they gave it to the super PAC."
Trump said Cruz knew about the ad, adding he started the latest fight between the two. Last week, Trump threatened to "spill the beans" on Cruz's wife in response to the ad featuring Melania Trump. He then shared a tweet featuring a photo of his wife next to a photo of Cruz's wife, stating, "A picture is worth a thousands words."
Cruz has denied knowing anything about the ad, and called it deplorable on Sunday.
But Trump said the super PAC that produced the ad is "very friendly to Ted Cruz."
"He knew all about it, 100 percent," he said.
"There's no way in a million years that super PAC did that without his absolute knowledge."
That’s why he said, “From what I hear,”. Not “I know for a fact!”
Is that like Bruce Gender?
SB?
I am with you. Trump made millions off of gambling. Gambling addictions have ruined families. He has had how many wives and mistresses? Evicted little old ladies to build parking lots. Says Planned Parenthood is wonderful ( except for that abortion thing of course) and we have conservatives falling all over themselves because they believe he is going to build the next great wall of North America to keep out the Mexicans. This is all astounding to me.
Cruz said Melania isn’t fit to be first lady because of a modeling shoot. If you don’t want her, you can vote for Ted Cruz.
That implies Heidi is acceptable as first lady. Perfectly fair to show the angry wench next to Melania.
And a retweet is not creating the pic as you first implied. Just trying to straighten this out A retweet is repeating what someone else said.
People are upset because Cruz used the pic in a negative ad..if it is beautiful and acceptable then the ad wouldn’t be effective.
Just when you think he's maxed out.
This is a problem not being arms length.
When did Cruz say Melania isn’t fit to be first lady. You guys are just like your hero the Donald, you make stuff up. I don’t think she’s fit to be first lady because she was having an affair with the Donald while he was still married to wife number 2 but Cruz never said it.
No. It’s because he dragged Trump’s wife into the campaign, and now is howling like a baby when Trump mentions one of Cruz’s women.
Character Matters!
Trump didn’t EXACTLY say that. He said “I heard that....” Just like he didn’t EXACTLY say to punch someone in the face—he said that he would like to punch a face. Not EXACTLY calling for riots if he can’t get the nomination with a simple majority—he said there would be riots if he didn’t get it. Art of the Deal, power of persuasion and Machiavellian manipulation by any other name
Angry...with mental issues.
That’s Hiedi.
In some ways Trump leads his life according to the principles of the Satanic Bible. No, Satanists do not worship the devil. Satanism is basically a philosophy cooked up by Anton LaVey that’s based in large part on Ayn Rand’s thinking with some ritualistic elements added. I was reading a Satanist forum a few days ago where one of LaVey’s followers said Trump was practically LaVey on steroids.
I do not think Trump is a Satanist, but after reading quotes from the Satanist Bible, I could see some similarities. Ayn Rand is probably a better comparison because of the lack of the ritualistic silliness of LaVey.
I’m still planning to vote for Trump over Hillary. Heck, I’d vote for Trump over Hillary even if Trump declared himself the High Priest of Satanism. LOL
From what I hear? Seriously? This is your evidence? From what I hear?
HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA

” Is it only a sleazy photo if used for political purposes? “
In a way, yes. When they added “or you could vote for Cruz.” That was sleazy. There were several super models in that feature. Kate Moss being the only one I recognize. Super models do that sort of thing to further their career, and to get a paycheck. It’s a lovely pic of a very beautiful woman. 16 years ago.
Again, Cruz did not use the picture at all.

Alongside the increasingly playground-like tussle between Trump and Cruz, the re-emergence of the nude photo has actually angered Verglas.
“I never gave any approval for this image to be used anywhere else but GQ in the U.K. It puts me in a very weird situation as I have to protect my intellectual property and the privacy of Melania Trump,” the photographer says, adding that he's already talking to his attorney. “I don't want those pictures to be used in certain ways which are inappropriate.”
