About the author Bryan Crabtree. He is a radio personality in Atlanta:
"Atlanta's live/local show on business & current events. "My goal is to inspire greatness in the people who like & listen." 4-6p biz1190; 9-11pm AM920 M-F"
He wrote around 10pm last night:

No further elaboration at this time. Doesn't sound like he is the source for the information, but is quoting someone else citing a "deep source." Just yesterday Drew Johnson was fired from the Washington Times for claiming at least 2 of the affairs are "accurate," either meaning they happened or that the names of the women alleged to be with Cruz are consistent with accusations floating around media.
Yeah, just release your paperwork to US Citizenship for starters...Senator Cruz...
Husband-wife team on Atlantic radio. Not a salacious source like National Enquirer suggesting there is smoke. We'll wait to see what details comes out of it.
I’m always amazed that Cruz supporters think that their man can win in the north when he was crushed in the south by Trump. Isn’t that where Cruz was supposed to be especially strong with Evangelicals?
Your Cruzers are just as sanctimonious as your hero.
Let’s say a scandal broke in the tabloids about TRUMP, there were a zillion tweets about it, it was reported on all the networks and Cruz and Trump were having a war of words about it.
Tell me... would YOU guys be talking about it here?
OF COURSE YOU WOULD.
“An anonymous source? May have? Why even post this tripe?”
****************************************************************************
Because Trump supporters post such tripe. It’s what they do.
‘...we should not just blindly attack the man based on hearsay...’
I agree. Here is a serious report ...

This was out there six months ago and Trump did nothing about it.
Well done. The old ‘shoe on the other foot’ ...
‘Let’s say a scandal broke in the tabloids about TRUMP, there were a zillion tweets about it, it was reported on all the networks and Cruz and Trump were having a war of words about it.’
Or ‘Trump is KKK.’
‘Trump is Hitler and his followers are brownshirts.’
There is mini scandal once a week with Trump. But boring Ted a stud with
the bible under arm now that’s news.

Talking about it is one thing.
Accepting it blindly as gospel is another.
When FR started allowing Twitter feeds as source for articles it jumped the shark. It’s a gossip site now.
I haven’t yet accepted the NE story as gospel. The story was written as rumors not as facts.....yet. I will wait to see what transpires.
But I just get the feeling that there may be some Trump Buyers Remorse in the end for a lot of people.
I do to.
With some. I think too many are too “all in” and won’t question him no matter what he does.
Amen, some of these posters make the DU look like a place for reasoned discussion.
However, I do suspect that many of these people are "trolls" that are posting over the top comments, just to cause dissent. A classic sabotage technique by spreading gossip, innuendo and engaging in personal attacks.
They don't care/believe what they post, their primary goal is to get a flame war going.
Because of this crap, I don't post much anymore, I really wish people on both sides would be more reasonable.
Well said.
“When FR started allowing Twitter feeds as source for articles it jumped the shark. Its a gossip site now.”
And I thought I was the only one that noticed this.
Did this “source” maybe just read the Washington Times story outlining that they support at least two of the CUBAN MISTRESS CRISIS dalliances? No “super secret decoder ring” is necessary.
This is the Cruz MO as we saw when he flip flopped on TPA/TPP. Make a big stink to confuse the matter and pretend to be the victim. This is the third time I've seen him do this and the act is getting very old.
“Accepting it blindly as gospel is another.”
Well, speaking as a Trump supporter, I absolutely do NOT “accept it blindly as gospel.”
In fact, I agree with Trump - I have no idea if it’s true or not. The lawyering up / silence of several of the women involved and Ted’s bizarre response make me suspicious - but that’s not MY fault, that’s the fault of the behavior of the people involved.

Craig Mazin is a successful screen writer in Hollywood. He also attended the prestigious Princeton University in Princeton, New Jersey. In fact, Craig Mazin attended that school at the exact same time as presidential hopeful, and all around cretin, Ted Cruz. Even more in fact, Craig Mazins freshman year roommate was the aforementioned cretin, and presidential horror show candidate Ted Cruz. Craig Mazin wants you and anybody listening to know that Ted Cruz is as terrible as he seems, maybe worseand its sort of hilarious.Back in 2013 Mazin spoke to The Daily Beast about Cruz:
In addition to Mazin and Leitch, several fellow classmates who asked that their names not be used described the young Cruz with words like abrasive, “intense,” strident, crank, and arrogant.” Four independently offered the word creepy, with some pointing to Cruzs habit of donning a paisley bathrobe and walking to the opposite end of their dorms hallway where the female students lived.
I would end up fielding the [girls] complaints: ‘Could you please keep your roommate out of our hallway?’” Mazin says.
Creepy!
And the idea that his freshman roommate could someday be the leader of the free world? I would rather have anybody else be the president of the United States. Anyone, Mazin said. I would rather pick somebody from the phone book.”
AHAHAHAHAHAHA.
Heres Mazin back in 2013 talking about Cruz on the Scriptnotes Podcast:
And, you know, I want to be clear, because Ted Cruz is a nightmare of a human being. I have plenty of problems with his politics, but truthfully his personality is so awful that 99 percent of why I hate him is just his personality. If he agreed with me on every issue, I would hate him only one percent less.
Craig Mazin has not stopped trolling his former roommate. His twitter account is a source of fun walks down memory lane:
............
Interesting at least.
