The latest issue of the National Enquirer contains a story alleging that Ted Cruz has had extramarital affairs with five women. The story features pixelated photos of women the Enquirer claims were involved in affairs with the Texas senator and presidential candidate. There’s been speculation that one woman in a blurred photograph is Donald Trump spokeswoman Katrina Pierson.
Pierson offered these comments on the story:

Critical thinking would demand specifics - not just: "build a big wall" - "get rid of fraud and abuse" - "military will kill the families of terrorists because I tell them to".......

National Enquirer only said Teb and his ‘aide’ (Pierson) were “seen getting cozy.” That could mean anything. Under an umbrella in the Texas rain? In a tight space on the bus? No sex alleged, unlike 3 of the others.
Translation: Ted Cruz hit on me like some nerdy teenager, and I left his campaign for a a real man who is happily married.
No, she said "I only speak to myself, however." It sounds more like she is contrasting her solitary rebuttal to the blast broadcast of the false accusation against her.
I suspect she knew the rumors were floating around when she quit Cruz and went to work for Trump and the insiders have known about this scandal for months. So Trump would have had plenty of time to let her go quietly but instead has kept her on staff, even knowing it could blow back on her. The fact that she’s still there tells me Trump believes her and at least is willing to take the heat.
The cycle is always the same....
First they deny it.
Then it proves to be true.
Then they drop out and do the walk of shame.
