ed Cruz will grab an upset win over Donald Trump in Arizona's presidential primary election on Tuesday, as he's the "only candidate with any kind of organization out here," a close confidant of Sen. John McCain predicts.
"They have him positioned to spring the upset," Kurt Davis, a GOP operative in Arizona, told The Hill. "They just have to deliver."

Well said post 231. It’s obvious to anyone with an open mind what Cruz is up to. He is doing the Establishment bidding of flanking Trump from the right while Kasich flanks from the left. Neither can win they just want to squeeze enough delegates to deny Trump.
It seems the whole GOPe has gone globalist.

We saw a taste of what is to come from Hillary against Trump if we are unfortunate enough that Trump gets the nomination. Trump provides a wealth of inane, inarticulate soundbites that will devastating in TV ads. Consulting himself, having a good brain and saying a lot of things. LOL.

Gee, we Trump supporters in all of the states want to attend some rallies for our candidate without trash storming him on stage, the news media dragging him through the mud and his own party stabbing him in the back. Even Jesus and the Pope get criticized but you Cruz supporters want “safe threads? First it was rally threads; which I agree should be for supporters only. Now you want any thread that has Cruz’s name in the headline cordoned off for you. That will be up to Jim of course. But the fact is that every Cruz thread just turns into a thread about how bad Trump is and nothing constructive. I read Cruz threads to see if anyone can tell me something I don’t already know that might change my mind. No luck so far; with very little about Cruz, everything about Trump. As far as I can see, all Cruz threads are about Trump.

McCain mocked Cruz after the Texas senator claimed he had lobbied McCain to let U.S. troops carry their personal firearms around military installations.McCain, the Arizona Republican who chairs the Senate Armed Services Committee, said he had never heard from the 2016 presidential hopeful or his staff about the controversial topic.
“You know, I was fascinated to hear that because I haven’t heard a thing about it from him. Nor has my staff heard from his staff,” a jovial McCain told reporters late Monday. “Where did that come from? I have not a clue.”
...The Arizona lawmaker enraged some conservatives shortly thereafter when he called Paul and Cruz “wacko birds.”
Cruz told a group of gun-owners at an event in New Hampshire that he had been “pressing” McCain for hearings to look into allowing troops to carry private firearms on military installations.
A feisty McCain laughed off the assertion when lawmakers returned to Capitol Hill on Monday.
“Maybe it was through some medium that I’m not familiar with. Maybe bouncing it off the ozone layer, for all I know,” he joked about Cruz’s alleged “pressing,” as if delivering a comic routine.
“There’s a lot of holes in the ozone layer, so maybe it wasn’t the ozone layer that he bounced it off of. Maybe it was through hand telegraph, maybe sign language. Who knows?” he said smiling, eventually bending over with laughter.
