Dear MoveOn member,
Donald Trump's violent, bullying political rhetoric has escalated in the past few days. Over the weekend, he singled out MoveOn from the stage of his rallies twice, and it has resulted in some of the ugliest online attacks on MoveOn that we've ever seen: His supporters have flooded MoveOn's inboxes with hate mail.
In the face of these attacks, we refuse to back down or remain silent.
Fox News mentioned MoveOn more than 150 times over the weekend, egging on Trump supporters. MoveOn is not funded by mega-corporations like Fox. Instead, we rely on our millions of members. We've already seen a huge surge of support over the past few days. Now, we need your help to beef up our internal security, while we double down on our work to stand up peacefully to Donald Trump and his message of hate.
Will you chip in $3 to help us stand up to hate and keep Donald Trump out of office?
Please stand with MoveOn right now by chipping in. This weekend, Trump offered to consider paying the legal fees of a man who sucker-punched a Black protester at one of his campaign events, encouraging physical violence from his supporters.1 Meanwhile Trump supporters have also been targeting protesters with racist and anti-semitic slurs.
MoveOn is committed to standing up nonviolently for love, diversity, democracy, and inclusion in our politics. And we're committed to doing everything possible to make sure that Donald Trump never, ever becomes president. Our country is better than the ugliness Trump is fueling. Will you chip in $3 to help MoveOn stand up to Donald Trump?
Yes, I'll chip in right now to help out.
Manny, Victoria, Mark, Jadzia, and the rest of the team P.S. Please read Victoria's message below for more about what happened on Friday. Fox News and right-wing news media are doing their level best to spread misinformation, and we need your help.
Dear MoveOn member,
Friday night, without consulting local police, Donald Trump abruptly cancelled a rally in Chicago in the face of massive and overwhelmingly peaceful student-led protests.
Then he blamed MoveOn members for his decision, telling Fox News we must have "staged" the protests and that MoveOn is "not a good group of people."3 Fox News's coverage and other right-wing media have followed his leaddenouncing MoveOn "agitators" for ruining Trump's event. Saturday morning, he called protestors "thugs."4 We're being flooded with aggressive emails and social media posts from Trump supporters. Some of them are threatening.
We refuse to be intimidated by Donald Trump, Fox News, or anyone else. We need to make sure the public at large understands what Trump is up to hereencouraging violence, looking for scapegoats, and then, perversely, trying to paint himself as the victim.
We need to double down on our work, showing that America is better than Trump's bullying, hate-baiting, and incitements to violence.
Will you chip in $3 to help our campaign?
Please stand with MoveOn right now by chipping in. Let's be clear. Trump has been encouraging attacks on peaceful demonstrators for months.5 On stage at a rally in St. Louis, he called for "consequences" rather than "politically correct" handling of protesters.
As Rachel Maddow pointed out, and as even the other Republican presidential candidates now seem to understand, Trump is deliberately inciting violence at his rallies.
Now he's trying to pin the blame on MoveOn for the toxic atmosphere he's fueling.
Please stand with us with an emergency contribution of $3. Yes, I'll chip in to help stand up to Trump's message of hate. It's become increasingly clear in recent weeks that Donald Trump's rising fascist rhetoric poses a new and dangerous threat to our democracy. And now, MoveOn members are on the receiving end of his megaphone. We're not backing down from our work to stand up against Trump, Fox, and the broader right wing that's seeking to divide our country. Not now. Not ever.
We must decisively reject Trump's fascist rhetoric and this rising tide of hatred.
We are committed to nonviolence, but we will not be silent. We will not be invisible.
So here's the plan: We'll support MoveOn members to call out and nonviolently protest Trump's racist, bigoted, misogynistic, xenophobic, and violent behaviorand show the world that America rejects Trump's hate.
And to keep it going, we're counting on you to donate whatever you can to cover the costs of everything involvedthe organizers, signs, online recruitment ads, training, and more.
Will you chip in $3 to stand up to Trump? Yes, I'll chip in right now to help out.
We've been ramping up our efforts for monthsfrom the "We Are Better Than This" ad we helped organize in The New York Times in December, to our collective advocacy for refugees under attack from the GOP, to the support we provided students in Chicago last night by printing signs and a banner and recruiting MoveOn members to join their peaceful protest. We need to double down in the face of direct attacks on our community.
Thanks for all you do. Victoria, Robert, Josh, Anna, and the rest of the team Sources:

Finally, somebody stands up to the militant leftists — and HE is called a bully.
They are anarchist against our country.
>>MoveOn is not funded by mega-corporations like Fox<<
It is funded by meg-millionaires like Soros.
And Fox funds no one and unless you liars can back that up you should be ready for a libel suit.
Finally, Trump funds himself and is honest about it, unlike you liars.
They should hire Krauthammer as their PR guy
Manny, Victoria, Mark, Jadzia, and the rest of the team all have addresses.
I’ll bet their personal security sucks.
I’m just saying.

maybe those at Moveon.org think Soros and the Rothschild clan is running out of money so they beg for $3 donations?? Just another leftist scam?
Time to get out my violin and play a sad tune.
Thanks for posting the pic, Maggie.
I’ll send them every $3 bill I have! Do they accept Canuckbucks?
