On the eve of a crucial primary that could determine the Republican nominee, Ohio Gov. John Kasich is tied with real estate mogul Donald Trump in the Buckeye State.
Both have 33 percent support in the CBS News Battleground Tracker poll released Sunday morning.
The poll shows that Kasich does well among voters who say the economy is in good shape, pollsters noted, while Trump leads among those who feel the Buckeye States economy is floundering.
But Trump has a 20-point lead over his closest challenger in winner-take-all Florida. He has 44 percent support in the poll, followed by Texas Sen. Ted Cruz with 24 percent and Florida Sen. Marco Rubio with 21 percent.

I have a feeling the media is going to say Trump is losing ground since the protests have been happening at his rallys. When in fact, he is most likely surging.

He is just a one way ticket to socialism.
You've sure got that right!
Kasich is loved by Socialists even more than Rubio!

Cruz will dominate the Midwest. He already won Wyoming with the the biggest majority so far in these primaries. Not to mention Idaho.
Maybe. But the two states you mentioned were caucuses (not primaries), and Cruz didn't win in Michigan. And he threw Trump to the wolves yesterday, where he could have broken from the others and stood up to the communist "black lives matter"/"occupy wall street"/"international answer" agitators. We'll see if his recent cowardice and opportunism has any effect on Tuesday's vote.

If Trump needs to open his wallet up more and pour resources in one state, it will be Ohio (and that goes for the general election as well). Just a key state for Republicans. I can't remember the last time the Republicans won a national election without also winning Ohio (and vice versa, I can't remember them winning Ohio without also winning the national election).
I can understand people in Ohio liking their governor but the stakes are too high to hand him a vanity prize. I say if he's doing well as Ohio governor, vote to keep him there but choosing somebody else for president - please!

Got that right. Even the Republican legislature in Ohio put the stoppers on some Kasich crap. Hopefully, we can dump this loser, soon!

From the cross-section of polls I have seen Ohio will be tough and the thing to watch for is shenanigans at polling sites.

“..poll shows that Kasich does well among voters who say the economy is in good shape, ..”
While I am no fan of Kasich, especially after he sold out with Obama”care,” Bill Cunningham, also of Ohio, said the economy is doing well there.

You’re a clown. Go look how many people voted in Wyoming, and youre touting that as proof Cruz will do well in the general?
