(Vanity) - Mark Levin, Isn't It Time To Get Behind The Candidate Who Can Beat The Establishment?
Self | Matrch 7, 2016 | mbrfl

Posted on 03/06/2016 9:14:56 PM PST by mbrfl

For the past 4 years, we've heard Mark Levin tell his radio audience that this time around, conservatives need to rally behind one conservative who can actually beat the establishment. As near as I can tell, Levin seems to have gone silent on that point in recent months.

As we watch the GOPe ramp up their attacks on Trump, borrowing from the Mississippi playbook of dirty tricks, wouldn't now be the time to rally around the only candidate who can take out the GOPe - Trump? Any thoughts?

Ever wonder why Levin never called out Obama’s eligibility?
I don’t...

So if Cruz is an insider he should make great deals.

If the nomination is stolen from Trump, the Republican elite will realize that voters don't matter. They'll usurp even more rights and economic well being from the middle class.

If that did happen, we'd be better off voting Democrat. The nation is over, either way. The dems will give us a few more years to prepare because they'll throw a few bones to the middle class.

I’m gonna out on the limb and take the minority. Position and say, Ted Cruz will get the nomination. The GopE will get him to play ball and that will be that.

Levin is a principled man and he won’t sellout like the GOPe does just to score a “win” (whatever that will mean under Trump). The principled, constitutional conservative who can beat the establishment is Cruz. They guy who will bring vengeance without principles and ultimately be the mother of all sellouts is Trump.

That would be Trump. Cruz didn’t win one county in VA, didn’t win Louisville—one of the two biggest population centers in KY. He got crushed in NH and SC and TN. These are key states and areas a candidate has carry in the general. Trump can take TX but Cruz can’t take VA or NH or OH.

I suspect Mark Levin is going to be backing Ted Cruz. If so we will soon be treated to dozens of posts about how Mark Levin is a secret GOPe sell-out who is probably taking money from Hillary Clinton.

I’m convinced the gope wants Hillary to win.

That's why they are going hard for a designated loser, and they've picked the same one who threw the game in 2012.

Neither Trump nor Cruz will have enough delegates the day they walk into the convention, the GO-PEE will make sure of that.

I keep trying to listen to Levin, but end up turning the station as he goes after Trump over and over again.

Having the two top candidates making illegal aliens an issue is something I’ve been waiting for. I knew eventually it would be an issue when the rest of the country experienced the frustrations we have here in California.

The passage of the omnibus when we have control of both houses, continued to fund sanctuary cities and was a clear indication that we have been lied too for many years. Their hatred for Trump and Cruz shows that we are over the target.

It’s interesting that what is driving our economy is global warming and that issue never seems to come up in the debates. Maybe it has, I haven’t heard all the debates.

Global warming is the EPA and they are making law by edict. They are attacking our energy, making it more expensive, killing power plants and jobs in the coal industry. They have picked the winners, those that install solar and wind turbines. They have given China a market. They are killing manufacturing with their fines and regulations. They are attacking farmers and ranchers. They are taking over vast amounts of land for their unreliable renewable energy. They want to control un-navigable ponds and streams.

Entire cities are being transformed to create dense and sustainable cities with public transportation. Our transportation money is being used to connect these cities with trains, and create walkways and bike paths and dedicated bus lines.

Donald Trump says he would get rid of the EPA.

When asked about trade wars in the Texas debate, Trump said:

“Well, you know, I don’t mind trade wars when we’re losing $58 billion a year, you want to know the truth. We’re losing so much.”

“We’re losing so much with Mexico and China — with China, we’re losing $500 billion a year. And then people say, “don’t we want to trade?” I don’t mind trading, but I don’t want to lose $500 billion. I don’t want to lose $58 billion.”

It is Trump that says we are sending our companies and technology to Mexico and China.

When he was asked how he would cut $10 trillion over 10 years, but make sure the country isn’t saddled with even more debt?

TRUMP:
“Because the country will become a dynamic economy. We’ll be dynamic again. If you look at what’s going on, we have the highest taxes anywhere in the world. We pay more business tax, we pay more personal tax. We have the highest taxes in the world.”

“It’s shutting off our economy. It’s shutting off our country. We have trillions of dollars outside that we can’t get in. Yes, we will do my tax plan, and it will be great. We will have a dynamic economy again.”

“We’re going to make many cuts in business. We’re getting rid of — we’re going to get rid of so many different things. Department of Education — Common Core is out. We’re going local. Have to go local.”

“Environmental protection — we waste all of this money. We’re going to bring that back to the states. And we’re going to have other (inaudible) many things.”

“We are going to cut many of the agencies, we will balance our budget, and we will be dynamic again.”

Trump is right about that “trillions of dollars outside that we can’t get in”.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tax_inversion
The U.S. is unique among developed nations in imposing both a high statutory corporate income tax rate of 35 percent (effective corporate tax rates are lower) and imposing tax on the profits that domestic corporations collect from their subsidiaries abroad. This policy of taxing foreign profits is called a “worldwide” system of taxation, and it contrasts with the “territorial” system employed by most developed countries including the United Kingdom and Canada, which generally tax only profits from domestic activities. The result is that U.S. corporations with subsidiaries in lower-tax jurisdictions face higher taxes on those foreign operations than they would if they were incorporated elsewhere. As Bloomberg View columnist Matt Levine wrote in 2014, “If we’re incorporated in the U.S., we’ll pay 35 percent taxes on our income in the U.S. and Canada and Mexico and Ireland and Bermuda and the Cayman Islands, but if we’re incorporated in Canada, we’ll pay 35 percent on our income in the U.S. but 15 percent in Canada and 30 percent in Mexico and 12.5 percent in Ireland and zero percent in Bermuda and zero percent in the Cayman Islands.”

The Economist explains:

The incentive is simple. America taxes profits no matter where they are earned, at a rate of 39% — higher than in any other rich country. When a company becomes foreign through a merger, or “inverts”, it no longer owes American tax on its foreign profit. It still owes American tax on its American profit.

I have some very liberal friends I argue with daily on Facebook. They’re actually well informed, just a little twisted. They have a hatred for special interests running our country, those evil capitalists, and they will vote for Bernie. But if Hillary is running against Trump, they don’t know who they will vote for.

Dole, McCain, McConnell—name the worst squishes you can think of—they can all dish out the “raw, red meat.”

Just as Dolan, Wuerl, O’Malley can all give a rip-roaring pro-life homily in front of a pro-life crowd. On their way to dinner with Obama.

Why HERE, in this morning's NY Daily News,is an article completely backing up what I said. It states that the NY state GOP is disorganized and could not get its act together to back Trump. LINK

Levin gets his paycheck from a media corporation. The mask has been peeled off him as well.

They haven’t started on Ted yet. The media has been ever so nice to him. Ted doesn’t have millions of dollars in attacks ads running in every single primary state now does he. Wait til he’s finished doing the GOP dirty work. Then you will hear non stop how he shut the government down and can’t work with congress. They haven’t even started

I remember Levin yelling on air how Americans shouldn’t care about off shoring. It is none of your business where stuff is made. Basically he was yelling “I’m a Free Traitor™”.

With Jebbie out, Barbara may have sent out the instructions to line up with Mrs. Bill. Or is it only Mr. Bill who hangs around Kennebunkport?

Actually, BOTH Cruz and Trump can ‘beat the establishment’ and clearly have, at this point.

The problem is November. Cruz based his victories on getting a relatively narrow portion of the electorate - evangelical Republicans. Nothing wrong with that, but at 10% of US population, and concentrated in the South, not exactly a national strategy. Trump, when he stays focused, is basing his victories on getting support from Reagan Democrats (i.e., working class whites and to a smaller extent, working class minorities). They are a MUCH BIGGER POOL...and can give him a victory in November.

Something to think about.

Yes it is Mark so stop pimping a guy who is owned by Goldman Sachs is not eligible to be POTUS would not be able to withstand THE TREATMENT from the media (asking him daily about his birth country) and could not win a single state Willard didn’t win.

One good thing about Trump is that he is exposing all the guys that are working with the Establishment.

Hasta la vista Levin!
