CNN reported yesterday that indeed unnamed "GOP operatives" confirmed off the record there was a plan to get Carson into the Florida race.
Carson campaign chairman Bob Dees also told the Washington Examiner that such a push existed.
"That's been very tangible. It's been several... two groups of billionaire-types of folks that have pressured him," Dees told the paper. "People that drive super-PAC activity and other endeavors and, in fact, there was even discussion of a, well, we can help with the Florida [U.S.] Senate seat if he'll just agree to do what we'd like you to do or support our guy, drop out, etc."

I think he would make a good Surgeon General.

He will always have Beck to keep him company.

Dr. Ben Carson would be a worthy successor to a failed Marco Rubio. Marco has proved himself to be a lightweight and a RINO tool. A perfect dupe.

Honestly Ben would be good in the senate. He’s a thoughtful conservative guy.

Big question: Why do we really need a surgeon general?

I could really really really get behind that idea.
Ben Carson is a thoughtful man. I would love to see him be in the US Senate.

Bizarre notion.

That won’t play. We need Ron DeSantis.

Agreed. We saw what happened when Liz Cheney tried to parachute into a Wyoming U.S. Senate race out of nowhere (or Alan Keyes in Illinois for that matter)
Speaking of Liz Cheney, I wonder if some anti-17thers are pushing this idea. I find it cute on how they go into long winded discussions to “educate” the rest of us about how Senators are supposed to represent state interests (as if anyone who disagrees with them is too stupid to “understand” how the government was originally supposed to set up), then they practice the exact opposite and push for someone who has ZERO understanding or ties to the state’s culture as the ideal person to “represent” the said state in Washington.
