Caitlyn Jenner is a conservative. We know this. We’ve heard it on a few different occasions and it doesn’t look like she’s backing down on it, even though it alienated her from some Democrats and many Republicans still don’t like her.
Jenner really doesn’t care. She sticks by her convictions, which is generally admirable, but is a little confusing for people who have heard her idols speak about the trans* community. Ben Carson isn’t overly kind to them. Neither is Mike Huckabee. Among the most flippant is Ted Cruz, who has expressed a negative opinion of the LGBTQ+ community on the whole, but is no stranger to specifically dropping unkind soundbites about trans* people.
The Olympian is still supporting Cruz in his bid to become the president. In an interview with Dawn Ennis at The Advocate, she put it like this:
I like Ted Cruz. I think he’s very conservative, and a great constitutionalist, and a very articulate man. I haven’t endorsed him or anything like that. But I also think, he’s an evangelical Christian, and probably one of the worst ones when it comes to trans issues.
She went on to say, “Wouldn’t it be great — let’s say he goes on to be president, and I have all my girls on a trans issues board to advise him on making decisions when it comes to trans issues. Isn’t that a good idea?”
That is optimistic and fair, regardless of if her detractors don’t believe it could work. Only time and a few primaries and an election will tell what happens between Jenner and Cruz.

Well, the life stories of Christians who are serious, do look like crazy trials at first, but then if they perservere, they end up looking like crazy victories.
This may simply not be Cruz’s season, and Trump may prove reasonable enough in the role. Trump is not wild and crazy about everything, or he’d never keep his empire. His idea of campaigning may not be his idea of managing.
Has anyone ever seen Caitlyn Jenner and Bruce Jenner in the same room at the same time?

I think Graham previously said he’d rank Cruz dead last, but has flip-flopped on that and now says Republicans need to rally around Cruz to stop Trump.
You’re 100% correct that if Bruce Jenner were endorsing Trump instead (or if Lindsey Graham were endorsing Trump, or even Mitt Romney for that matter) they’d be singing his praises on this forum instead of blasting him.
The Trumpsters say they’re for Trump because they absolutely loathe the “establishment” and “RINOs”, but whatever one of those dreaded “establishment RINOs” gets on the Trump bandwagon, they gush with excitement over the announcement and say it just shows that the Trump nomination is inevitable and so-so is such a wise, forward-thinking individual for throwing their support to a WINNER like Trump.
Look no further than Chris Christie, who overnight went from being a despised “fat RINO traitor who helped Obama” to being an outstanding corruption fighter who will make a great Attorney General for Trump, since he started singing Trump’s praises.
Some Trumpbot told me today “if Trump really WERE a liberal, don’t you think our RINOs would love him?”
I answered that some of our RINOs have already publicly said that they love him, and Trumpsters love to have their support.
