A super PAC supporting Republican Marco Rubio's presidential campaign released a new commercial Monday that slams Donald Trump for his refusal to disavow ex-Ku Klux Klan leader David Duke during a weekend television interview.
The ad from the Conservative Solutions PAC opens with CNN's Jake Tapper describing how he asked Trump three times whether he would reject the support of Duke and the KKK. The ad then cuts to Trump, saying, "Well, I have to look at the group."

Donald trump disavowed this on Friday at his presser with Chris Christie. Its on his twitter page.
The video is directly on the MSN page next to the story of Rubio lying about Trump!
Oh, c’mon. This is so obviously a set up. It’s always a setup when all of the opposing forces latch on to something so quickly.
Rush was being willfully dense. He knows exactly why Trump handled it that way.
Tapper was planning to ask Trump if he agrees with Duke and the KKK. Trump of course would answer that he did not. Then Tapper would spring the trap and list the positions of the Klan and Duke. No moslems coming in, send illegals out, etc.
He would then ask, “Why do you disavow Duke when your positions and his are the same?”
Then Trump is supposed to stutter and look stupid. This was the sunday before super Tuesday with no time to recover for Trump = KKK.
Unfortunately for the crowd used to candidates like idiot Bush (any of em) etc, who will always kick at any football held in front of them, Trump ruined the whole attack and moved the conversation where he wanted. And they are pissed.
Limbaugh is increasingly showing his GOPe colors.
After hearing about Little Marco’s predilection for hanging out in places in south Florida notorious for homosexual pickups, plus his ‘foam boy’ exploits, I think the little prick is light in the elevator shoes. He’s also been making semi-sly jokes about Trump’s manhood, which should tell most people what he’s fixated on.
I’ll say it: I think Marco swings both ways.
“I like Trump but this should have never become a distraction. What was he thinking?”
He’s thinking of what the intended 5 minute conversation with Tapper, on camera, about the KKK would have looked like. That’s a complete no win situation so he flipped Tapper the finger and didn’t play.
Imagine the sound bites and film clips such an interview would have provided.
He played chess instead of the usual GOP checkers.
Rush Limbaugh would be perfectly happy with President Clinton, he would have a packed house ready to gobble up his Tea, Kiddie books and whatever else the slob is hawking.
I love the smell of desperation in the morning.
“Donald trump disavowed this on Friday at his presser with Chris Christie”
Donald Trump disavowed this his whole life by treating blacks with respect and fairly. Rubio knows nothing about Trump’s life. I believe he championed many blacks on his TV show over the years.
It’s fair game. Trump hammered Rubio for choking during the debate before New Hampshire, why shouldn’t Rubio hammer trump for his screwing up the interview?
Thursday’s debate... Trump University and David Duke will be topics.
I listen to Rush once in a blue moon. Sometimes just to hear him espouse some earthshaking political theory that I’ve figured out on my own from the same source materials (e.g. internet) that he uses, just to see if I’ve guess him right. Half the time he loses me just because he’s mambling on about what he’s going to mamble on about after he goes to the audio soundbites but whoops running late back with your calls right after this beeeedooop!
In other words - predictable. Just not quite as much so as Hannity, who perfected the Marco Rubot tape playback unit.
Unless you like an echo chamber where you can hear what you’re supposed to think, who needs ‘em? Rush invented a new media format and saved AM radio but it’s a different era now. We can get our own information from FR and other similar sources and few people under age 50 know what AM radio is, or care. I look for Rush to retire within 2 years.
“Rush Limbaugh would be perfectly happy with President Clinton,”
Rush frequently has said it’s more fun when the Democrats are in the White House.
Rush is a sellout shadow of himself in the early 90s. Everytime I tune in, he isn’t normally very insightful or interesting anymore to me. I think Cougar has lost the edge. He was Topgun, now he’s thrown his wings across the table.
Sticking with Eric Erickson was a big clue. As was his Rubio dance.
Then Trump is supposed to stutter and look stupid. This was the sunday before super Tuesday with no time to recover for Trump = KKK.
Exactamundo. Trump didn’t want to go down that ambush road and was inartful shutting down the conversation. That’s all he’s “guilty” of.
I would expect nothing less from the little catamite.
No it is not. Rubio is lying. It is that simple.
Jeb’s little stand in needs to just go away.
“Rush Limbaugh would be perfectly happy with President Clinton, he would have a packed house ready to gobble up his Tea, Kiddie books and whatever else the slob is hawking.”
THIS
Trump answer the David Duke question here. It’s a non-issue.

But he will not and for good reason. After he disavowed David Duke and Rightly so. He effectively if not intentionally back tracked and contradicted his own statements about David duke
When asked
“Will you unequivocally condemn David Duke and say that you don’t want his vote and that of other white supremacists in this election?” Tapper asked
“I don’t know anything about David Duke, OK? I don’t know anything about what you’re even talking about with white supremacy or white supremacists. So I don’t know. I mean, I don’t know did he endorse me or what’s going on? Because I know nothing about David Duke. I know nothing about white supremacists. And so you’re asking me a question that I’m supposed to be talking about people that I know nothing about.”
The question should have been easy to answer, something like “ of course I condemn white supremacists.. and would not want them supporting my campaign.” (my words not his) he seems to easily enough attack everyone else but for some reason he does not here ? (no not saying is is a kkk’er)
He just whiffed and spiked himself on one of the easiest softball questions of all time.
This is all from the same GOP operatives/lobbyists who have been running the GOP and pushing amnesty for decades.
Grover Norquist, Karl Rove, Cesar Conda, Al Cardenas, Steven Moore, Hugh Hewitt, Suhail Khan....all by the way the same people who run CPAC!
