Brand Index reported:
Since the first GOP presidential debate last August, Fox News Channel seems to have lost its perception mojo with its core right-leaning audience.
By mid February, FNCs perception by Republican adults 18 and over had reached its lowest point in more than three years, and has declined by approximately 50% since January of this year.
Coinciding with Trumps rise to front-runner in the GOP presidential race, Fox News Channel has seen its perception by Republicans slide. In early August 2015, right after the first GOP debate aired on Fox News Channel,Trump went on a Twitter war with moderator Megyn Kelly, saying she bombed and calling her a lightweight reporter.
The picture hasnt been rosy in terms of the general population either: since last May, Fox News Channels perception levels with adults 18+ have uncharacteristically been drawing significantly more negative feedback than positive. At this point, both FNC and CNN are scoring at similar perception levels and they are both negative.

Me too, 5 years ago
FauxNews is MSM.... better than the others but still.... MSM
Dump Megyn Kelly. She’s Fox’s single biggest liability and an albatross about their neck.
Fox Business is better than Fox News
One American News is good they have a lot of international news
I am a Crux supporter myself, but stopped watching FOX after Megyn Kelly attacked Trump in the FOX debate. Their rhetoric had been leaning left for some time prior to that. Kelly’s unprofessional attack was the nail in the coffin for me.
I figured out that Fox News was part of The Ministry Of Propaganda years ago.
They have been doing the bidding of The Cheap Labor Express for quite some time.
It has become so blatantly obvious that even the most obtuse viewers are getting it now.
Faux News is less Faux than the 100% liberal all day long MSM networks, but it is by no means Fair and Balanced. That’s especially true when Shep is on the air, but this election cycle, it’s also been true with Megan, too.
Yep. Join the club.
For the umpteenth time, Trump is not one of us. You Trump supporters will be disappointed — then you’ll blame the rest of us.
After Faux started having hardcore socialists on and an unending parade of GOPe’s to trash Trump I have changed my viewing habits.
You bet we have lost faith in FOX NEWS. Clearly their agenda is being driven by the political agenda of their upper management. Pure establishment. Rubio fan boys. The part they seem to be ignoring is that this opens a channel for their competition to become more “fair and balanced” and go after some of FOX’s market share.
Hey Murdoch, you have made a bad business decision.
Dump Megyn Kelly. Shes Foxs single biggest liability and an albatross about their neck.
And the recipient of a 10 million dollar book deal from guess who ???
Answer
HarperCollins is a subsidiary of News Corp, which took control of the the newspaper and publishing operations when the companys TV and film assets were separated into 21st Century Fox, which runs Kellys employer Fox News.
Rupert Murdoch controls both companies.
Give me a break.
Faux’s new motto, “We decieve you believe”
Good. Along with talk radio, they have been the main thing beguiling conservatives to stay on the Republican plantation. Just a little while longer, to do more from within, hold your nose, just get the House, just get the Senate, better than the alternative.
While we frogs have been slowly simmered by the GOP, it is Fox and ‘conservative’ radio, ezines and blogs that kept telling us to be patient and not jump. Distracting us while our houses were plundered.
Some people will never figure out that the Ministry of Propaganda sets up the “opposing sides” framework. Most people fall into the trap of finding one side or the other to be correct.
“Since the first GOP presidential debate last August, Fox News Channel seems to have lost its perception mojo with its core right-leaning audience.”
How can that possibly be? We have been assured by Rush and all the experts that conservatives don’t like Trump.
I would say, after lack of coverage of Cruz, the one Constitutional Conservative in the race, conservatives stop watching Fox.
