Former Massachusetts governor Mitt Romney is finally getting off the sidelines to endorse Sen. Marco Rubio (R-FL), in a final effort to defeat Donald Trump after the billionaire took early states in New Hampshire and South Carolina by storm.
According to the Huffington Post’s Scott Conroy, Romney had been waiting for Jeb Bush to exit the race before endorsing Rubio citing “respect" for the former Florida governor.

Like that’s a surprise, one loser endorsing another. I wonder how much this changes anything at all, given it is a GOPe endorsement.
That pretty much wipes out Marco. Now let’s see Trump and Cruz destroy Hillary.
Same here. I will not vote for Rubio under any cirmcumstance. It figures that mittens would pick the least conservative of the top 3 in the GOP.
Romney to endorse Rubio? If I were Rubio, I’d call Romney and tell him...please don’t do that. Death nail to his campaign. In an environment like this, citizens are rising up and bucking the establishment for what we believe are betrayls.
I’ll vote for the nominee no matter who it is but I’d vote Kasich before Rubio

This morning, he was forceful in his denial that this was true.
There is no way for him to pretend to be an outsider with a Romney endorsement hanging over him.
Besides, what new voters will Romney bring to Rubio that he doesn't already have?
The Cuban jukebox placed 3rd in IA, 4th in NH and eeked out 2nd in SC. He wont win NV-— he’s a longshot to win the nomination at this point despite his cheerleaders in elitist places.
If romneys opinion mattered, he would have won.
Kinda what I was thinkin’. Mittens gives rube-ee-o the nod sounds a death knell for me. Not that I cared much for him to begin with. I suppose the gopE may never get the message that the same old pander politics ain’t cuttin’ it and that a lot of conservatives are pretty much done with all their false promises. It used to be mostly the dems with the falsehoods but the gopE ain’t far from them anymore.
