A driver has been arrested after authorities say he deliberately ran down and killed a jogger in a Los Angeles suburb. The Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department says 36-year-old Haissan Massalkhy of West Covina was booked Monday on suspicion of murder and jailed on $1 million bail.

Well who hasn't almost run down a jogger who was doing something dumb like crossing against the light or running in the street at night with dark clothes on or running out in front of a car and expecting the car to stop or jogging in the street on a busy highway rather than a quiet neighborhood. Why can't joggers stay on the sidewalk - it would be safer for all concerned.

And bicyclists are another category of fitness types where people take leave of their senses.
