For God's sake.....the family said NO. Not only that but he is embalmed already. Kinda hard to do that now. Let the guy rest in peace. This is becoming an embarrassment. If the family wanted it then I'd be for it, but only the family decides and they decided not to do one.

I think that’s reasonable.

Your wish is granted. I just heard that a Texas judge has ordered one.

Scalia’s untimely departure means that if Ted Cruz’s eligibility is challenged he is now toast under all of the most likely scenarios... Supreme court deadlocked... liberal appeals court ruling stands.

Add Trump to the suspect list.

We must have an immediate Scalia autopsy

Can't do an autopsy. He had been fed through a wood chipper before he went to bed and died of natural causes.

4-4 split? How so?

Kennedy will just vote with the confirmed libs out of spite if the Senate blocks an appointment.

One would think that an unexplained death of someone as important as a Supreme Court judge would automatically be autopsied.

I think that absent any evidence of foul play then the family’s wishes should take priority over a James Lewis’s paranoia.

We must have an immediate Scalia autopsy

At least a thorough examination of his body by a competent medical examiner conducted IN PERSON and not over the phone. Otherwise, for the next twenty years there will be legitimate questions concerning the circumstances of his death.

I’ve read at least three articles that said the Judge’s family did not want an autopsy. Leave well enough alone.

I understand the family did not want an autopsy.

Who gets to decide?

I’m no conspiracy nut, but Michael Savage is raising some interesting questions on today’s program ... questions which, without a formal autopsy, will provide conspiracy fodder for some time.

There is no such thing as a “recess” “appointment” of a Supreme Court justice. The Justices are NOT “appointed”, they are first nominated, requiring the approval of the Senate, and NOT a simple majority. Per our Constitution.

If it’s to be followed as....sworn.

If... anyone will follow the law.

If... any in Congress or Executive understands the People’s great revolt that would occur if this proviso of our Constitution was to be ignored- because the media whores say it should.

We? Unless the author is Justice Scalia’s next of kin or executor, it’s none of his business.

They are not just on the paranoid fringe.

This death was very mysterious and politically convenient for too many people.

What was he doing in Texas? Who paid for the trip? Who else was there that day? What was the actual cause of death? Were there any signs of poison?

I don't care if the family wants an autopsy or not. When people die under even the most remotely suspicious circumstances, the family has no say in whether or not the coroner does an autopsy.

I'm not being paranoid. If this were Ruth Bader Ginsberg, an autopsy would have been performed even though I think she may have died 4 years ago and her mummified body is being propped up at the bench.

It is not unreasonable to demand an inquiry.
