I’ve read at least three articles that said the Judge’s family did not want an autopsy. Leave well enough alone.
I, too, have read that the family didn’t want an autopsy.
However, if someone got to a Scotus judge, then they could also have gotten to the family.
It probably should be a matter of public policy that autopsies are performed on high ranking members of the government, family or not.
It seems to me that until this is settled, this is a substantive reason to oppose any appointment of anyone.
