For God's sake.....the family said NO. Not only that but he is embalmed already. Kinda hard to do that now. Let the guy rest in peace. This is becoming an embarrassment. If the family wanted it then I'd be for it, but only the family decides and they decided not to do one.

Didn’t they find a pillow over his head or face. Isn’t that a bit suspicious?

That’s good info.
I respect their judgement.

Do you know WHY they were against doing an autopsy? Could be anything, from belief they already know why he died, to trying to protect his legacy, to simply being in shock, to something more sinister. Seems to me, if for no other reason to prevent just these types of discussions, an autopsy would have been ordered.

...the family said NO.

What kind of threats or blackmail caused that?

The family has no say in whether or not an autopsy should or should not be performed.

I’m beginning to wonder if there was something sexual involved. But then again I’ve been listening/watching conspiratorial shows.

It’s not the family’s call.

I am going with the family’s judgment on this-they know the situation far better than any of us. May he rest in peace.
