We must have an immediate Scalia autopsy
American Thinker ^ | 02/16/2016 | James Lewis

Supreme Court Justice Antonin Scalia has died, deeply mourned by his friends and admirers, while liberals are happily celebrating his demise (in their usual indecent fashion). La Raza, radical environmentalists, and the affirmative action establishment are celebrating today.

Scalia's sudden death leaves a 4-4 split on the Court, neutralizing the power of the Court until a ninth justice is confirmed. But Obama might try to make a recess appointment, thereby sabotaging the Senate's advice and consent role. He has already done that with the fraud-filled Iranian nuclear surrender "treaty."

[SNIP]

Justice Scalia's sudden passing may have been due to natural causes. But for the first time since the assassinations of JFK and Martin Luther King, Jr., many Americans are sincerely wondering what might have happened. They are not just on the paranoid fringe.

President Obama is constantly claiming unconstitutional powers, something that Justice Scalia opposed with all the intellectual force at his command. Meanwhile, the Supreme Court itself has come under serious criticism ever since Chief Justice Roberts issued self-contradictory opinions favoring Obamacare. Hillary Clinton is being credibly accused of national security felonies as secretary of state, and the DOJ and FBI are said to be at odds on indicting Hillary. If she becomes president, there is likely to be a bloodbath in the permanent government in D.C. A perfect storm is rising in American politics.

As we can tell from the jubilation on the left, Justice Scalia had hateful enemies, and he must have received death threats, which the FBI must now re-examine. The American public must also know on whose authority an obviously necessary post-mortem examination was avoided. The best way to restore public trust is to appoint a bipartisan congressional committee to oversee a medical pathology team.

I am glad you are not feeling distressed. It will be interesting to see how this all turns out in the end. Have a good evening.

Scalia has passed from this veil of tears.

Only the Alex Jones contingent is in full tithes

Does it present the spineless group in the senate with an opportunity to do the right thing? Yes. Will they? I think they will fold like the cheap suits that they are

I'm no conspiracy nut, but ....

You already posted this post to this thread, verbatim. You're spamming.

It’s not the family’s call.

I am going with the family’s judgment on this-they know the situation far better than any of us. May he rest in peace.

Many will still call for a conspiracy even if an autopsy turned up heart attack. I don’t think the government should be in charge of that decision in the first place. Obviously the family doesn’t believe anything sinister happened. Wouldn’t they be the FIRST to have suspicions?

Sounds as if he was a heart attack waiting to happen otherwise his own doctor would have pushed the family to have his death checked out. JMO

It should simply be a matter of policy that when anyone in one of the three braches of government dies that there is automatically an autopsy triggered.

It is a national security issue.

Fox News chief legal reporter said last night that he has already been embalmed, that the family did not want an autopsy.

That probably means he hasn’t had one. But, who knows, really?

It most certainly is the family's call absent evidence of foul play.

A long time friend of Scalia’s went with after his son's plans changed. He is the one who notified the family leading me to believe he was not just Scalia’s friend, but a family friend. He was their surrogate.

If that pillow was anything other than a prop for his head, don't you think he would have said as much? Did you see the molding on the headboard? I would need several pillows between my head and the headboard for comfort.

Consenting to an autopsy on a loved one is not something most people do without anguish. His family did not see the need for one. Since Scalia did not raise a family of dummies it is fair to say, based on the information provided by the authorities and Scalia’s friend, there was no need for a post-mortem.

The government does not own our bodies in life or death. Absent any evidence (not suspicion) of foul play, it is no one’s business but the family's. For any of us to think we know better than his family is the ultimate insult to the memory of Scalia.

It’s a matter of national security. It shouldn’t be the family’s call.

In fact, an autopsy should always be conducted on anyone in one of the 3 branches of government.

However, many things are taken from the hands of families by the government. Ransom, visitation in a war zone, etc. National security does — and should — override.

I said in my post that I had posted this on another thread (before seeing this one). In the nearly 18 years I have been here I have never been accused nor in fact have ever done "spamming".

I humbly beseech that you may find it in your gracious heart to forgive me for causing you such great offense.

it was't 'my' fact. Apparently it was a bogus radio report.

But thanks for the advise

no it is not....He is not yours. You do not own him. The family is the deciding factor if there are no signs of foul play But there are worrysome signs. Turn on the radio or read the news, many people consider various aspects of his passing suspicious. That's just a fact now.

Lots of foul play is only detected after an autopsy, that's the whole point of doing them.

Homicide detectives and wing nuts are all claiming all sorts of things.

The family and his physician said no autopsy. We do not own some one just because they have a government title
