We must have an immediate Scalia autopsy
American Thinker ^ | 02/16/2016 | James Lewis

Supreme Court Justice Antonin Scalia has died, deeply mourned by his friends and admirers, while liberals are happily celebrating his demise (in their usual indecent fashion). La Raza, radical environmentalists, and the affirmative action establishment are celebrating today.

Scalia's sudden death leaves a 4-4 split on the Court, neutralizing the power of the Court until a ninth justice is confirmed. But Obama might try to make a recess appointment, thereby sabotaging the Senate's advice and consent role. He has already done that with the fraud-filled Iranian nuclear surrender "treaty."

[SNIP]

Justice Scalia's sudden passing may have been due to natural causes. But for the first time since the assassinations of JFK and Martin Luther King, Jr., many Americans are sincerely wondering what might have happened. They are not just on the paranoid fringe.

President Obama is constantly claiming unconstitutional powers, something that Justice Scalia opposed with all the intellectual force at his command. Meanwhile, the Supreme Court itself has come under serious criticism ever since Chief Justice Roberts issued self-contradictory opinions favoring Obamacare. Hillary Clinton is being credibly accused of national security felonies as secretary of state, and the DOJ and FBI are said to be at odds on indicting Hillary. If she becomes president, there is likely to be a bloodbath in the permanent government in D.C. A perfect storm is rising in American politics.

As we can tell from the jubilation on the left, Justice Scalia had hateful enemies, and he must have received death threats, which the FBI must now re-examine. The American public must also know on whose authority an obviously necessary post-mortem examination was avoided. The best way to restore public trust is to appoint a bipartisan congressional committee to oversee a medical pathology team.

It should just be national policy. If you’re in one of the big 3 branches of government then you get an autopsy. It’s common sense.

That’s too bad. This is no time for Trump to chicken out.

It doesn’t make sense to me to cut and paw through your remains simply because you were a government major player and someone wants to “make sure” there was no foul play-it sounds ghoulish not to mention arbitrary-you’d need a consent form for that as a condition of employment before filling any office/position, and a don’t think many would sign such a thing. I certainly wouldn’t, and I can’t think of anyone I know who would-better to work where my wishes, and those of my family are respected.

There is also the possibility of false evidence being planted in an autopsy-government being so trustworthy and all that-maybe somebody gets paid to plant evidence to take down a political rival on a murder/accessory to murder charge-sounds more like something the mafia would do than what goes on in a free society-nope, don’t like the idea at all...

So then you have nothing more than unsubstantiated rumors.

I did an Internet search before I posted to you. I couldn’t find one single family member quote. I was hoping you had some links that would actually have one or more family member coming forward.

This insanity of tying everything to conspiracy. WE MUST KNOW...no we do not have the right to tell the family what they will do with the body of their loved one.

There were no signs of foul play, the family doc was contacted, the family did not want an autopsy..... that is the end of it. The public does not own someone else. We do not have a right to tell the family what to do.

Some folks here at FR are showing severe signs of pathology

PLUS what folks don’t want to acknowledge is that the doc said he had a shoulder injury but he was not healthy enough to operate on....that is what high blood pressure and heart disease will do to a person

no it is not....He is not yours. You do not own him. The family is the deciding factor if there are no signs of foul play

That is true. Just not having the operation is a red flag that his health was not great. I still say “God Bless him”. I hope and pray I go that way. I consider it lucky quite frankly.

Eisenhower had the benefit of knowing he would be re-elected to do this. Curious- did Brennan get sworn in and serve in the recess period before being re-elected— how could he have been if he had not been approved by the Senate as “nominated”. Interesting.

Very different (and have noted the WAVE of Wash Post articles justifying the BS “you must approve obamaumao’s nomination— it’s your duty, even in an election year, because it’s been done before— argument)situation here with obamaumao. It is more akin to LBJ’s attempt— which was blocked. But to hear the wonks say it— it’s happened a lot. They’ve gone out of their way to show how Anthony Kennedy was “approved” in the last year of Reagan-— notably skipping over the actions of that moron Joe Biden (with his Duke law school prof lib professors writing up a “report”) along with whale boy Teddy Kennedy (both of these mental midgets in charge of the Judiciary Committee) who “Borked” Robert Bork and then ultimately weaseled Reagan into a nomination of Anthony Kennedy which the DEMOCRAT controlled Senate “allowed” and appointed in an ELECTION year.

For Republicans to block any nomination is their perrogative, just as it was Democrats to delay and “Bork” Robert Bork for nearly a freaking YEAR such that the democrats now try to say— “see— Reagan did it in an election year”..... what jive. And what a freaking LIAR is Schumer who said— in 2007 advise “NO” on ANY and ALL George W. Bush nominations—now saying he never said “no hearing on a nomination” (which is a lie— the speech is on the Media Research Center site— he’s lying, again).

Previously, if Trump filed a suit challenging Cruz’s eligibility, there is a good chance he would have lost. The equation has now changed, the probability of a lawsuit has now gone from remote to very likely. Didn’t you notice that the volume of the confrontations has increased in the last couple days along with more threats of a lawsuit? Who knows how it will play out ultimately. Sorry if this observation causes you distress.

Recess appointments are not confirmed by the Senate; that's why they are temporary. Brennan was serving his temporary term when he was later officially nominated and officially confirmed.

Exactly

My Gid father went in his sleep. He and my Gos mother were at a medical convention. She was in the bed next to him and he passed in his sleep. He was actually in better health than Scalia but it was his time
