Lawrence Sellin, Ph.D. a retired colonel with 29 years of experience in the US Army Reserve, argues that Senator Ted Cruz entered the United States illegally as a child in 1974. His parents failed to file a CRBA form which is required by US law. Tedâs parents did not fill out the required form until 1986.

The snatches of this and that imagery which you persist in posting is like I said -- just so much noise.
If I feel the need for snapshots of out-of-context inapplicable quotes, I'll let you know.
Otherwise, have fun with the trolling action. Maybe you'll hook a big whopper some day.
If he was 16/17 then his folks would have needed to do the oapaperwork to get him his passport.
Not all parents tell their kids all the details of what paperwork is needed...
Also, in the case of a US citizen dad, and no marriage, then the dad has to file paperwork stating he’s the dad; acknowledge paternity.
But the crba was filed when Ted was 16 or 17.
So... any Jose, or Vladimir, or Mohammad, who was born outside the US, to ONE American parent, can someday come here and fill out some paperwork and be eligible to be elected President?
Are you sure that's a precedent you're willing to accept?
.
OK let’s say when he was in high school his parents just said ‘we filed paperwork for your passport so you can go to England for the competition’ and didn’t tell him the details.
Then he gets his passport and they have the other paperwork in their safe deposit box.
He wouldn’t find out about it through them.

It further states that just because someone doesnt file for CoC, (form N-600) doesnt mean they arent a full citizen, it infact states that they do not have to go through a naturalization process
Looks a little light to me.
I can’t settle this. It is unsettled law. It just seems to confound common sense that one would have to go to a foreign country to visit the birthplace of an American President.
The Trump machine wants him terminated with extreme prejudice!
Ummm. Cruz was a US Citizen by virtue of his mother’s citizenship upon his birth.
Provided the legislation does not pretend to alter or amend or redefine the Constitution itself.
The Constitution can only be amended by the States, i.e. the People of the States. Congress does not have this power.
If and only if the citizen parent fulfilled the requirements of a statute.
It is the statute which makes Cruz a citizen. He is a naturalized citizen.
The Canuckgate episodes just keep on coming.
Uh....NO...it couldn’t be....No matter what Ann says.
Unfortunately people have forgotten the criteria for Article II in order to allow that to happen. Now that it's done, I say it's too late to do anything about it, especially since we have far worse problems to deal with.
As a priority, it needs to take a back seat to a lot of more serious problems. We have over half our population now receiving government money in some form or another. We are running the printing presses to keep issuing paper currency that isn't really backed up by anything.
We have judges undermining the very fabric of society by making "gay" marriage, and we have this large class of people trying to change the US by letting in all these third world socialist.
We need someone who will fix the Judiciary as well as finances and border security.
Each and EVERY item in the constitution is extremely important, but I find it hard to believe that the eligibility of the President and commander in chief of our Armies is not as important as freedom of speech.
It isn't. Without freedom of speech, we can't effect change. We can't hold the government accountable for abuses. Freedom of speech is far more important than eligibility rules for the Presidency. Presidential eligibility is not even in the same class of importance as Freedom of Speech.
They are ALL important and I will NOT bend to the continued destruction of the ONE thing that sets us apart as a nation.
You will throw away our best hope over a small blemish. You are an example of that adage, "The perfect is the enemy of the good."
The Constitution of the united States of America is the Law of the Land. It is to be obeyed!
And you will throw away the larger part of it in order to get that one tiny little part you insist on having. Again, this is "penny wise and pound foolish."
Perhaps Abraham Lincoln can explain this to you better than I can.
I did understand...that my oath to preserve the constitution to the best of my ability, imposed upon me the duty of preserving, by every indispensable means, that government-that nation-of which that constitution was the organic law. Was it possible to lose the nation, and yet preserve the constitution? By general law life and limb must be protected; yet often a limb must be amputated to save a life; but a life is never wisely given to save a limb. I felt that measures, otherwise unconstitutional, might become lawful, by becoming indispensable to the preservation of the constitution, through the preservation of the nation.
If you do not grasp what he is saying here, then there is no hope for me to get you to understand.
If Lincoln's words cannot get you to reconsider, by all means, clutch your pretty constitutional bauble while giving up the greater treasure. You will only succeed in D@mning us all.

It’s also possible she didn’t notify them then, and later on, when applying for Ted’s passport for the overseas trip, found out she needed to get more paperwork, I.e. the crba, etc.
It means he was and is now an illegal alien.
